No kidding...I almost cried. Thanks Zack! The way you described Colombia it's amazing. I'm Colombian, I think we don't appreciate our Country as much as he does 💞👏
I’ve watched dozens of your videos; this is the BEST YET. Your tell it true. I was in Colombia for a month in 2015. ❤️ Colombia 🇨🇴. (Thanks for no F-bombs. I share...) What about SubTitles for your Spanish videos?
You should come to Cartagena!!, there are some many places you will like. And the food is great!! i promise.
Hello Zach! I just wanted you to know that I am very happy for you and hope that you live a good life in Colombia. I also have an immense love for that country and want to travel to Medellin someday. The romance part of living in Medellin is what attracts me the most. Like you said, women there make better girlfriends. I wish you the best.
I like your videos a lot Zach, I always wanted to travel Colombia and by watching your videos I have learned a lot. What you say is all true and learning about different cultures makes you think in a different perspective. Thank you!!
1:38 I agree with you @Zach that the food is much better. The best food we have experienced in the world and the cheapest. We show how much we love the food in our vlogs too 😃
Zach, this is so interesting. I saw you at my job in Fort Lauderdale about like 7 months ago, but besides that, I thought you were born in Colombia. Anyways, do you feel safe living in Colombia? I’m colombian and even I’m terrified of going to live there.
Im not American but I can dispute many of your points...if you go to the midwest, wont you listen to more country music than in say, Oregon or Vermont? You also have specific rythms for specific areas, is not just here. Do you really think we see more "culture" here? keep dreaming... I can see more culture in NYC than I can see in Bogota, because culture is not a compendium of music and dance only, culture is so much more. I can learn a lot from the jewish guy I deliver food to eveyday, I can speak to my muslim neigbour and I can sit and play guitar with the Estonian guy on the subway station. Better yet, I can go to the guggenheim or the met and have a great day... I do have to agree that things are a bit simpler here, not so much consumerism, more values, more family union etc, that is good. The biggest reason why I think gringos like coming to Colombia is to meet women. The reason is that most of them cant handle American women, most of whom are the "devil" for Americans. Most americans nowadays are nuttered lil boys that cant handle a job, responsibilities and especially, strong and independent women, so they have to come here to pick up submissive colombian women who drool for them and make them feel "alive". That way, they can have a sense of control and feel like a man again...that is fuck*d up. I agree that this current feminist wave has turned women into angry walking contradictions, but you gotta grow a pair if you want a good woman by your side. Im not saying you embody what I just said, all Im saying is that 95% of gringos i meet here come to Colombia for these reasons.
That's fucking stupid that you think all colombian women are all the same, I don't think that you experience how american women's truly are, AMERICAN women always try to find a guy to live together, get marry, and they are desperate for that, they want to try a guy fast and if they find one and don't work they go with another one and another one, cause they don't like to be alone, yes sure they are more independent is things like having a car a job and an apartment but they don't see themselves alone without a man, colombian women are more relax, more feminine, they take care of themselves and maybe they are submissive but all of them? dude really? we are not like that you see that submissive perspective but in reality colombian woman just want to take advance of everything and there is a movement in colombian about feminism and woman are realizing that we don't need a man if they can provide for us.
Perooo.... in PR they love shopping lol there is a shopping mall in every corner and we enjoy to waste money in clothes .remember you have to be nice looking for every party . But besides that it sounds like your talking about PR . 😍
I want to ask you as I have asked several other peoples is about self-defense I think people are afraid to talk about this subject. I have been to Colombia many times over 18 years and always had a good time, but sometimes you will see some weird duds that looks like they could try to rob you. in Florida where I live you have the right to defend yourself and I can carry a weapon if I choose to, but in Colombia I think you will get arrested if you inflight injury to the robber I will fight if someone tries to take the dirt from under my shoes My life is not worth noting if I don't defend it, but then I am a Viking lol Thanks for listening Bert
You are such a sweet heart!!!!... I would like our own colombian people to be aware about the nice sides of living in Colombia.... or being colombians... Perhaps you just missed to mention that we try to be possitive even in the oddest situations...
Life in America is not fun anymore. The average American male no matter what age or how wealthy is living like a castrated caged animal. Things really changed here I’m glad I will be living in Colombia in two weeks. Just a simple walk or a coffee at a coffee shop or a lunch at the menu of the day restaurant are always fun and social
This is what my husband likes about my culture people don't have to much but they are happy with little. Please have on this channel safety tips to traveling to Colombia you can make money to posting your videos I mention on one of your videos that I went with my husband to Peru and I did learned a lot about Peru from a young girl that used to leave here and moved back to her native Country Peru she charging us 100 dollars to go safe around Lima and we have a great time with her. I hope you stay safe there sorry about my broken English I am not from here so don't criticize me😂
I love what U have learned from your travels in Colombia. I feel proud to hear your love for that beautiful country and its people. Very inspiring. Respect.
The only experiences that Millennials encounter come from staring at their I phones doing as their large corporate masters tell them...... Great video by the way.... I enjoyed it.
Oh my God! Awesome like this, because people can study with your English and be more proud of our beautiful country! Keep going.... And God bless you...
Your totally right dude, even though i love usa(im in colombia) people there its always thinking about material things and a 99 percent of the times they dont know how to be humble and show a litle bit of concern to other people, as i said before i actually think usa its great but i work in customer support here in colombia from an american company, and they usually never show apreciation or some kind of respect to someone whos trying to help them, but anyway love your videos and love the way you speak about colombia it will be great to meet you sometime. BUENA QUE SEVEROS SON SUS VIDEOS PANA!!!
Zach, you just made me cry for how you described my country in such a way that I would never expect. I love it!! I currently work in your country and more specifically in South Carolina. I love many things of your state and country amd so I feel very connected with this 100% except for the nature. I feel more nature in your country. Obviously all that depends on where you live here and there
happy to see some positive light on Colombia, good videos but duuuude you're from South Carolina and you think food is better in Colombia? I've lived in both places for long periods and that's NUTS
You're right food is never wasted in Colombia. When I was little I remember there was an old man who picked up the "sobrados" wasted food every Friday to give it to his pigs. My mom used to feed the dog like another human, my dog used to eat cafe con leche with bread in it for breakfast 😄 she lived long and happy life
Thank you for doing this video. I really appreciate it. I am planning to travel to Colombia at the end of January. I want to see if it's a place where I can live. I want to live among the locals. I was recommended to consider Laureles instead of Poblado. You agree? Is there another city that you recommend? My wife and I like living in a nice place but we are not looking to pay US rent. Thanks again!
I wish you be the professor for my husband he needs to learn Spanish but doesn't try we been together for 14 year and he only say few words your Spanish is really good thank you to love my Country God Bless you always.
Espero vengas a Cartagena pronto.
