100% agree with you Saira 👍 I'm imigrant from Poland that live in the UK since 2004, but it's going downhill every single year 😞 My wife is Vietnamese and we are going to move to Vietnam with the kids sooner rsther than later. Well done for very informative videos 🙂
@@skwiot86 I will travel to Vietnam from China , maybe Vietnam maybe a new option for us instead of focusing on going to the UK. Just ridiculous that I’m married and still can’t get my wife in the country on a spouse visa so she can earn a decent living
@@CarlitoGio I wouldn't bother to come to UK now. We will be leaving UK next year, selling house now and moving permanently to Vietnam. I'll focus on China, Vietnam or anywhere in Asia.
Take out "UK" from the title and replace with "USA" and you've got the same set of issues happening - this seems to be the case in any western society/culture. Being a lifelong Californian, I can attest to the reality of these issues....especially the cost of living. My retirement is just 4 to 5 years away, SE Asia is where I'm headed. Until then, I've adopted more minimalist habits and investing every extra dollar to fund the next chapter in life.
You don't need to change country. You can just change states, and things will improve drastically. I am sorry to say that california has governance issues.
@@alexnelson9512 I am surprised at your comment/ opinion. If you have been limit in USA and "really integrated" him wouldn't make such a nonsensical statement. You live, work and do everything you want as long as you are able to "get it up" but want to abandon and berate the country which gave you a "decent life" after "you" started seeing your feet. You are a lowlife
I studied in the UK and I can confirm that crime rate is one the things that always made me anxious. Even by walking on the streets you can get hackled for doing nothing by some thugs wearing track suits. Don't get me started on name calling and verbal abuse. The funny thing is they always call me "you damn Chinese" or even Japanese although I am a slightly darker skin person. I eventually realized that if you live near the council housing areas you are most likely going to face all those abuses. There is a lot of broken family and family with single mothers, so it makes sense. Felt so relieved when I return to Malaysia. Way way more peaceful.
England is also allowing/legalised pittbulls which have moulded and killed children, pets and people more than 60% they are killer dogs which are very popular in the UK, stay safe ❤
@@255gmoneyAlmost everything in UK is behind compared to other European countries, housing, airports, healthcare, roads, Law Enforcement, right down to the water pressure in the house. Germany's law enforcement took down a coup, Belgium's healthcare ranks 3rd in the world, France has arguably the best water supply in the world, Italy has on average some of the longest living people in the world with a blue zone in their country. Norway's prison system is great too, meanwhile England still hires surgeons and GP's from Europe even though they left the EU. Their own government doesn't play by its own rules, Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock during the pandemic are prime examples. Their healthcare service is collapsing, their teachers and ambulance workers are striking too. How far has the "5th richest country on Earth" fallen.
1. Increased crime rates 2. Anti social behaviour 3. Weather rainy 4. High taxes 5. Gov regulations 6. Inflation & increased prices 7. Stressful lifestyle These are the seven reasons in the video.
Agreed, Saira. Taxes will increase under this new government. There are no police so conviction rates for criminals are low because prisons are full. There’s nowhere really to socialise. Cinemas are closing, dining out and the theatre’s expensive. Salaries have not kept up with house price inflation due to globalisation and tech. Let’s not get started on the education system. London is the same as New York.
The taxes are very average for a developed nation honestly. Bad behaviour and crimes are usually limited to bad areas (of which there are many but you can absolutely avoid them). Gov regulations…there’s not enough? But it’s a democracy. Stressful lifestyle is everywhere if your mindset allows for it.
Migrants saying they are leaving their England. If all people had just taken ownership for the wellbeing and development of their native country , the world would be a great place to live.
Reasons to leave UK, to leave France, to leave Canada, Australia, Germany, Ireland... The post-covid era is very bad for the West. It's sad, it used to represent hope for a better living.
Have you thought about who has contributed to the increase in crime? Migrants involved in a lot of it - sexual harassment of women. Drug dealers from muslim communities and random violence from gangs
The government of UK has systematically degraded the family ethics and social norms in society probably since 1980's. I have been living in London since 1960 and had experienced the golden years, when one bread winner managed the family without stress. Now the picture is nothing but super stress day and night. Yes, stealth taxes, fines , limited parking space in London ( unable to visit family and friends ), food prices on the rise weekly. Car insurances , road tax, mot's and residential parking permits. Public transport so expensive. Even if you drop someone off outside the airport there is a fee. Pay for parking outside hospitals and doctors because you become ill from stress. Your children raised in schools that have gone mad with gender politics . Unaffordable housing, now you really need four bread winners to smile . So so Sad.
You want to go back to Iran to live under a theocratic dictatorship which smashes the brains in of a woman for not covering her hair. Khoda hafez and good riddance.
I can’t wait to leave, everything is literally braking down in front of your eyes, from children education to marriages where divorces are highest ever to crime & basic customer services. The country is turning into an open hospital, people are walking around with mental illnesses, loneliness, broken souls merely in a body, lack of sound family relationships let alone any family values… not to forget the rise of far right politics in Europe in general
Add America to the list, same here too. Walking zombies just getting by day to day and just surviving, not LIVING. Yes, a lot of mental illness for sure.
I moved to a rural small town in the UK, from London. People still say hello, please, and thank you here. And we are working in IT from home, so there’s less time pressure, we don’t commute. Crime rates are fine in this town, it’s still safe here. Schools are great in town and the children are happy too. I couldn’t live in London anymore.
@@CarlitoGio but all the currently ok areas are also eventually going to go downhill. The population is growing everywhere and then overcrowding and crime follows. The area I live in now has another 10 years before it will deteriorate, if things go as they do now. No area of the UK is safe from this trend. I will likely move again in 10 years once my kids flew the nest, to an even more remote area.
I'm in the process of leaving UK. A shame as I'm an immigrant myself. I came here 16 yrs. ago and loved this country until 2020. I am grateful for all opportunities I got here and used them, e.g. I changed my career. You are spot on on everything.

I studied in the UK forty years ago, visited it only once for business since . Very sad how things have deteriorated there . I advise all Muslim friends and Family to leave before things get much worse .
Disgraceful. We are all human and we can all commit crimes. Multicultural countries like Bermuda and cape Verde and Mauritius and Monaco and they are multicultural have low crime rates . Stop making illogical assumptions
Most countries in the world are multicultural. If you have your DNA tested we have all come out of Africa 70 thousand years ago. Let us go back and learn to live and let others live.
The UK is a great country but the welfare system is absurdly generous, which leads to millions of people doing nothing with their time. Often they end up taking drugs and getting into crime. There are homes in which three generations of people have NEVER worked. All this costs the taxpayers a fortune, leads to painfully high taxes and, even worse, creates a terrible, rage and angst-filled culture.
@mjo750 Well their operation was a huge success in showing the entire world the true oppression Palestinians have been going through for almost 80 years now
It’s the increase in crime, the 2 tier policing, 2 tier politics, 2 tier justice, the silencing of free speak, the islamification of a Christian country, the suppression off the working class, the tyranny of the government, the uncontrolled illegal migration, the extreme expense to British tax payers to house illegal immigrants while military veterans are sleeping on the streets and relying on charities to survive. Or is it the fact that this so called “multiculturalism” has led to strong communities of certain demographics in certain areas, the fact that native English are feeling more and more like a minority. The UK is fucked.
Nice points, you forget to mention: 1. Islamist fanatism and jihadist groups 2. Asian criminal gangs 3. Asian drug dealers 4. Attacking british soldiers and police by immigrants 5. Bullying converted ex-muslims on different religion
sll the muslims especially the muslims from north africa (the worst ones). in Milan is a big shit. It's a total mess. And the rest of north italy is getting worse and worse. Invasion and no way of living like the local ppl. They make 3 or 4 children. By 2050 will be a nightmare
Well spotted. I was traumatised when I saw someone in my fully alarmed house when I came home after grabbing a magazine at supermarket in 2021. I lived in a good area in Surrey. Now I moved in a flat with main door shared with ONE another neighbour and another set of door to my flat with a 24/7 CCTV facing the main door. My neighbours and us are looking at each other’s back. Wrong ppl in too many too quick. Real income is 20 years low. Inflation is out of control despite we both are professionals. Stress is full on.. and what you said about the stress is so true. 😢 mindfulness is non-existent anymore.

Good luck with your work and I hope that you can stay in Japan on a permanent basis. You are definitely doing the right thing. The UK is well and truly finished.
It's good you are in Malaysia. By chitchating with the locals hopefully that would help for them not to fall the same trap and moving towards the same materialistic quagmire that is Europe today.
Trust me no muslim actually wants to live in the UK. Its consequences of being an immigrant child. The economy is going down. Inflation is crazy and standards are so bad. Weather is so shit too. Many of us can't move because its expensive to move or we have financial obligations here.

Spot on, 24 years on from Portugal. All you mentioned above have consumed my soul. I’m pretty sure I’m no longer human. This is what happens to immigrants- they came, gets disappointed and leave. My children were born in this country, their dad is English. I will run extra miles for them to let them know who they ate and were they belong to. Instead of escaping - when there's no luxury- let's get work together - to make it better. It may help to know that you could half your KL's cost if you lived outside , say Seremban , Melaka and you can stay home by tumpang makan , cater your food month long 5days a week. It's a Chinese thing culturally (but , I know two Malay shops(restaurant frontage) in Sri Damansara that does this , too. ie. halal.)(2 sets of tiffin each meal(minimum pax 2)so lunch and dinner requires 4sets tiffin , on you. Washing the tiffin is also on you.)(You leave the tiffin next to your front door , washed. He'll come around in his time to swap the set.) It's not advertised , ask around. To further avoid going out , the local , local grocer (the one who'll clean your fish? Not the modern grocers.) will also deliver on call , his time , what 30 , 45 mins radius for some RM2 or 4 per trip on given days of the week.(Indian sundry shops will also deliver milk , bread , stove gas , padi(rice) , lime fruit , banana , mutton , toilet paper , Milo , mosquito coils , chempedak(because this fruit keeps))? Outside of KL the van making a lot of noise is either a "recycler" , the gasman or a grocer. Or the ice cream vender !(This is "antropological " Malaysia , somewhat still is. ) Hope you make it to Malaysia ..
You should leave. You complain about crime. Who is responsible. You complain about overcrowding. Who is responsible. Violence ect . Just go. Please go.
She is not personally responsible. Are you so braindead to blame every muslim you see for those problems? Does she sound like she contributes to those issues?
i would recommend muslims in the UK to move to safe rich countries such as the UAE, Qatar etc because the stereotyping hatred against muslims are on the rise at an alarming rate
Great content as always. Must correct though, in the UK you can use reasonable force to protect yourself or others if a crime is taking place inside your home. You do not have to wait to be attacked before defending yourself. It’s important people know this.

*_American-style corporatisation of the country is a very large factor in this problem. Yet, at the same time, we are giving away to the EU and the world, a lot of of our taxed money. Great video Saira, I subscribe to everything you said because It perfectly applies not only tu the UK but to most of the big Italian cities and maybe to all western countries. For the same reasons you perfectly described in your video I decided to leave Rome many years ago and move to a small city on the sea in the southern part of Italy where I found peace and maybe all the things you found in Malaysia.
Can I say that these reasons are ruining all over Europe? I'm Italian but i live in the South of France, it's more sunny but people are stressed, always angry, more materialistic.. and it's better don't talk about salary and jobs in Italy, it's a really nightmare!! I think there's not a perfect place but everyone has to find the better for himself
You make the UK sound really terrible. It’s not perfect I admit that but if you are making good money and live somewhere decent it’s not that bad imo I’m sure Malaysia is not as perfect as you make out. Don’t forget you made your money here in the UK and people from all over the world are still desperate to come here for a better life. There are good reasons for that.

Unfortunately, Muslims' countries regimes won't allow migration to these countries. The only viable ways are employment, investment, marriage or hiding there if possible hoping you get humanitarian residence permit. I'm stateless Palestinian since birth, luckily resettled to a Muslim majority country after leaving UAE Alhamdulillah after being stuck there for decades. I got humanitarian residence permit, and they made me pay a fine for staying illegally !!. Better than GCC countries and their sponsered visa laws. I can practice my religion here openly and no sponser. Financially, barely survive, but again no sponsers thing, and GCC countries hoax projects.

Firstly I am not sure how the algo works, but somehow I ended up finding your video. Thank you for your insight. Secondly, I graduated in the UK, got job offers after graduation there. However as a Malaysian student with full scholarship, I chose to reject the offers and came home to serve my country as part of the scholarship requirements. Now that I have fulfilled my bond obligation, I am considering looking for a job there in the UK. The points you emphasised like crime rates, alcohols, stress, weather really made me think again. Now that I have a family with 4 kids, these things really weighs down the options. Things are not the same when I was a young student back then, and now as a father. Thanks for sharing your insight and have a good stay in Malaysia.

If the crime rate is the reason you want to leave the UK, then you’re in for a rude awakening. Crime is actually going down. It’s actually lower in the UK than most places in the world and I say that as someone from a country where violent crime is counted in years not months. Meaning one murder every twenty plus years. I have travelled a lot and it isn’t much better other places. I am leaving the UK because I just hate it here. Racism is more of an issue than anything else and even that is better than a lot of places. The point is no place is perfect for all the people all the time.
I really want to leave the UK in the next 5 years as well. Sick and tired of being heavily taxed on my hard earned money. Weak English Laws and unarmed Police and lastly it's not the country like before 15 years ago. It's changed so much, some parts of this country are turned into third world countries. Extremely tired of opened borders policies. I hate it.
The big question is: Why is there an increase in crime, and who is committing these crimes? Anti-social behaviours are let to go on because the government wants to be always politically correct, and not to be seen as being discriminatory.
