I did a catsitting job for an elderly couple that owned two Absynnians, a male and female. They were the quietest cats I've ever been around, it was almost eery. Beautiful for sure... they photograph like a dream. The male was constantly trying to get the female's attention and she was always trying to get mine.. i felt a little bad, 😂.

I am not sure this person has ever had an Abyssinian. They are in fact extremely affectionate and very clingy. They want to be with you all the time.

yea i didnt really want one but have one now and im a bit overwhealmed, while i have high energy and am hyperactive (ADHD) i didnt know until i did research and no it wasnt clear, i got them from a street cat shelter one a fat princess who is lazy and a "normal" cat and a black, very athletic, nerodiverse i suppose (part of hs brain didnt develop properly and he cas coordination issues now) cat that looked... off... well he is an abbyss mix and certainly looks like the abyss. and im now a bit overwhealmed as im trying to make one loose weight while the other already athletic and hyper cat wants all my attention 😅 but im doing my best, im training them and playing with them in all the free time i can get roughly 3-5h a day on a good day, some its only 1-3h

This is kind of accurate but a little misleading. I have had a few Abby’s and I currently own an Abyssinian and a Somali. They do have a lot of energy and like to play and jump. But they are also clingy to the owner. After they run around and wear themselves out they’ll come sit on your lap, and fall asleep with you. They are VERY affectionate. Also if you have two of them you don’t have to do much, they’ll entertain themselves and chase each other all over the house.

This video is misleading! I have had abyssinians for 34 years. They are extremely affectionate and want to be with you all the time. They are like velcro. They are not cats that tolerate being left alone.

In your other video you mention that Abyssinians like to be around their guardians. Here you’re saying the opposite. You also said, in your other video, that this breed is easier to train than others are. You said they’re dog-like. Here you’re saying the opposite.
