Your accent is a constant stabbing to my ears, why do you shoot every single word out of your mouth like that? You sound like you simply hate your audience with every single word. Have you ever listened to your voice?
@@mrfireop1571 if you have an issue with her accent, don’t watch her videos. It’s an easy solution. There are plenty of other channels to watch. Her accent sounds fine to me.
@@mrfireop1571 That is just so rude, and I totally don't agree. She's lovely, maybe the sound is a little off but please don't insult this lovely lady!
Another way to look well put together is to organize your clothes and try out different outfits during spare times so you know before hand what works for you. Planning and organization is key.
Yes please, would love a video on posture, mine is not good, I try but tend to slouch. I have a bad back, had 2 ops & have spent a long time in bed over the years & use a disabled scooter. I can walk around the house ok. I have caught sight of myself in a mirror & scared myself by how stopped I'd become. I'm almost 60 and I have Osteoporosis. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing that in the future. Merry Christmas. ☃️🎄💝
Thank you for your comment about no distracting background music. I have found on occasion that the background music becomes more of the foreground. Too loud, and I struggle to hear what the presenter has to say.
I've never considered myself elegant or classy, thinking that pertained to the wealthy, the socialites, and beautiful models. What a surprise to find I've been aspiring to and practicing "elegant" choices for years. My inspiration was spiritual, gleaning character values from the Bible. You are so right; living a balanced, unselfish, and meaningful life does make a person gracious, attractive, and fulfilled, seeking truth, taking responsibility. Beauty from within makes a positive difference in the lives of others. Truly, that is elegance personified. Thank you for your ministry to empower women.
As a little girl growing up in Paris, one of the first things I remember is my mom signing me up for ballet school. We eventually realized I couldn't pirouette without getting vertigo, so ballet was not the right career choice for me! However it left me with a consciousness of my posture throughout my life. I think every little girl should be introduced to that. Best.
@modtomodern it's quite a wonderful thing that you were not the parent of either of those 3 exceptional dancers and there are many. I really hope you aren't a parent - attitude like yours destroys children's hopes, dreams not to mention self-confidence. Do this platform & the world a favour - keep that toxic attitude to yourself 👎
I agree finding the best look for your shape and height is makes the difference. We are not made to wear skinney jeans. I like a classy silk blouse and a pair of nice tailored pair slacks. You can add a blazer or sweater.
Wrt manicures: There is nothing wrong with clean, well-filed, bare nails. Also completely agree that people should *not* get hung up on what the size tags say!
I wouldn't mind getting to know more about you. Bring on the ballet posture. Show different ways to wear your hair. How to move different ways to show an outfit off. There's so much to share for women our age. Go for it!
I continue to appreciate your videos. You feature clothing and suggestions a woman "of a certain age" can apply. You know how to apply the art of accessorizing and grooming, which in a hurried life I often neglect. Thank you. I also like the way you stage/style your shelves. May I ask where you purchased the storage boxes with handles? The attention to detail even in storage encourages me to keep up even in the little things. Well done.
Great tips. I'm 5'9", and was at 13 years old! My father was adamant that I stand tall and encouraged me to wear heels. I'm now 71 years old and realized that well-postured women looks confident and powerful.
Good undergarments is important...get a bra fitting, panty girdles and panties that cinch the waist. Wear the correct size clothing...don't get caught up in the numbers. Buy basics in primary colors like black or blue or beige. Buy other clothing in colors that look good on you.
As soon as you said "posture," I immediately straightened my spine and pulled my shoulders back and down. Wow - I was really slumping at my desk! Please do a video on this and if you have any ideas on how to stay mindful of your posture that would be helpful, too!! (I have even considered purchasing a shoulder "harness" to help me correct this bad habit.)
A great tip is to move your rear view mirror slightly higher when driving so that you always look up vs. slouching. :) I got that one from my ballroom dance teacher!
@SouthernBell. Don't be silly, you can't learn mindfulness of posture by others. Just a bit of discipline mixed with attention, and good breathing is all you need. When you depend on others to learn posture, you really suffer from a lack of confidence, stop it.
@@TheAmiMom You can never go wrong with something nude (milky is very common) ! Or if you dont wand any colour a transparent nail polish is good for you! Also not too long nails, medium to short is good. Even if you have no nail polish on when they are trimmed properly and clean they'd look fantastic
I’m not surprised to learn that you are a ballerina, you’re graceful and elegant! I would like to see a video on good posture, it’s something I have struggled with all my life, despite 15 years of ballet-training, thanks.
Yes please do a video on posture. I struggle with holding my shoulders back and occasionally I see myself in the mirror slumping forward. Standing up straight is key especially for an older woman. We look 10 years younger when we are holding our head up and neck back!
What I particularly like about this video is that the tips are applicable to any kind of fashion, even if your personal style isn’t similar to the style shown :)
I love how you keep it real in your videos. These are the most honest tips I have found on the internet so far. I also appreciate that you present products that are affordable for all viewers. Thank you!
Love this video! I would also add: a good quality sun/glasses, bag and a lipstick. Your video is totally my style - not too multicolor, I prefer to add a scarf a broche, pearls or bijou just to add a little pepp :) You are wonderful, madame. 🌹
Yes - would love to see a video on posture - I am a 66 year old woman and it is important to me to feel confident and put together. Adore you and thank you!
Yes please do the video on posture and some basic movements like picking up something from the floor, getting into a car, carrying packages. Thanks lots ☺️
I enjoyed this video on classy outfits. At the end you wondered if people are interested in a posture video. I know I am as I can feel my shoulders and back are curved, or slouched.
I agree with most of what you said but I definitely think anyone that wants to upgrade their wardrobe to look timeless and elegant, ditching the jeans is a must 😂
I really enjoy this channel! Very straight to the point. I love getting advice from someone with maturity and experience! Please keep posting and I can't wait to see your video regarding posture.
A video on posture is a great idea! All this lockdown time - for me it's being hunkered over a laptop. Posture can look stooped in a few months. How far I've fallen from a ballet/tap student years and years ago! Luckily, upper body stretches and exercise can correct it. I've seen good results within even a few days.
Qualified ballet teacher! RAD method? Very interesting. Many would benefit from a posture video especially since many have their heads buried in a laptop or phone.
This lady knows what she is talking about. A unique beautiful taste of style ❤❤❤❤❤❤Thank you for helping me find the content I am looking for online 💌📌
I just found your channel today! Thanks for your great tips for dressing classy! I enjoy that you don't have lots of extra comments that take so much time to watch just to get to the actual tips. I also appreciate the shorter length of your videos as compared to some others I've seen.
Yes! A posture video would be grand-I love that you shared your ballet background with us-you’ve always had such good presence and now I know the secret!🩰
I would really appreciate a video on good posture... at 64 I've found that my posture has gradually changed and I would love any tips that would help me to improve it.
Yes on a posture video. Also, a video on barre exercises would be so great. I don't do ballet but I feel the strengthening exercises that I know how to do are very good for my overall health. Thank you. Love your videos!!!
Sure, I would watch a ballet video. I'm more of a clothes person, though I did ballet as a young girl. However, I would enjoy watching a video from you about ballet posture techniques.
A vlog on posture would be excellent. I discovered your blogs recently and I find them very informative and to the point. You give great style tips. Thank you so much! Karmel (Montreal)
One of the things I remember most from growing up was my mother telling me to stand up straight! I saw a woman today sitting in a restaurant who had slouchy posture & just looked terrible. I think a video on posture would be great.
I would love a video on posture! I would love to see some of your dance photos. I danced from the time I was 3 well into college and taught at a little local studio. 💕
I would definitely appreciate advice on posture . Ex ballerinas always have great deportment . I do NOT fancy developing a dowager's hump as I age. . Lovely suggestions here too for a polished look
I’m interested in anything you share. I had a feeling you were involved in the arts. You are cultured and elegant. Tell us how you became a ballet teacher. Any moves u can share to your subscribers would be a gift. 😘
Posture, yes! I am grateful for my years studying ballet as being aware of my posture is second nature. The other thing that comes to mind is walking with grace - it goes hand in hand with walking tall.
Posture affects confidence without a doubt. Opening up your chest and shoulders not only straightens your back and makes you stand taller, it also opens your lungs and helps you speak your authentic truth. Nothing more elegant than a women who stands tall and speaks her mind.

Oh yes definitely would love to hear comments on posture from a ballet instructor. I didn't get into ballet but I did do figure skating and other styles of dance so I know how important it is. And I am so bad I slouch at a desk all day way too much, it's time to change that!
Yes to a video on posture - please do! Also, would very much like to see you talk more about manicures and I am generally confused on shoes, boots, heels, wedges and flats.
Really enjoyed this video Gemma, thank you. And I’d love to see your help on posture too please. It was drummed into me when I took ballroom dancing classes but that was a long time ago so it won’t hurt to have some reminders! 👍😊xx
I love this video - look put together really makes a difference. There are many videos out there regarding styling - this one is more useful than any suggestions on what to buy😍
