I passed my exam last Friday in my first attempt. Thanks for the tips and encouragement. It really helps. I will just reiterate, 'no stress' = already 75% won. Just application of common sense and things which you already know is another 25%. Good luck to others taking exam sooner.👍
@@Boobalopbop : so in my case, my trainer was translating me where I had doubts. There would be few basic questions before you start the car. There I struggled a little. My driving trainer helped me there . But directions from the examiner should be manageable.
@@vikki3090 You’re lucky! I live in Bremen, and I’m really afraid of getting a test administrator that speaks no English at all, and my German is 💩. My driving instructor speaks very little English and we do our best to communicate, but it’s been a problem because I feel like he is scared of taking me on more challenging roads because of our language barrier, he is afraid of not being able to communicate. Sigh. We’ll see. Thanks!

This video is really very helpful. I followed these tips particularly checking of mirrors every 10 sec just after i saw the speed and passed my test in first attempt. Such a shock to my husband and my instructor. Thank you very much.

This is a fantastic video with super tips. I followed all these tips and unfortunately failed my first practical German test today. I will explain below why. I feel like the most important tip is to be calm and not nervous. How one does this is another story. But the second tip should be to believe in your driving ability. First thing is my driving instructor made me doubt my driving ability abit, she said I drive abit too agressively when we began. That I should drive abit too smoothly, but driving too smooothly means you lose some of that sharp decisiveness to make fast and precise decisions. Anyways, moving on swiftly.... Unfortunately I have to stay don't believe in the tip where Fahrty says stalling your manual car will not make you fail the exam. Yea if you are at a traffic light maybe but it shows the Prüfer that you aren't quite sure of your capabilities as a driver and they start to critically analyse your every action. Whatever you do, don't try to give the Prüfer reason to doubt your driving ability and dare I say it don't stall your call. I would say try as much as possible during your driving lessons to practice balancing the clutch such that your car doesn't and never stalls. Had Fahrty mentioned this in his tips I would have practiced so hard on my clutch balancing but unfortunately I followed these tips and thought oh well doesn't matter if I stall. I did everything super fine today and unfortunately joined the Landestraße abit slow from the Autobahn because I had to stop and analyse the road etc and immediately after I joined the Landestraße where cars are allowed to drive up to speeds of 100 Kmph, my car stalled came to a full stop for 1 second, I balanced the clutch real quick and on we went. Big Alarm there and I failed my exam because the fact was that I created a dangerous situation where I put peoples lives in danger. Obviously I wasn't so aware of this but this should be common sense, but that should come with balancing the clutch and making it second nature that your car never stalls. So I will say this, practice as hard as possible to make sure you never stall your car during your practical test. Best of luck. No disrespect to you Fahrty as your tips are amazing. In my case I should have stopped watching at the 1st tip; Be calm.
I saw your video too late.. i did not pass my final driving exam 2x already. how i wish you are near to me and get you as my driving instructor☺ because mine can not speak even simple english. This video is very helpful. However, I am watching this video today. I have exam today and I wish I could have watched this video during first attempt. I drove very well during my first attempt. However, The instructor told me to take left from the second red light when I was in the right lane. I did not see the first light which was 10 m away and I jumped it. This is a wonderful video. Please wish me all the best i have a test on 12th feburary. I have 10 experience of driving in dubai but here the rules are a bit diferent. I just finsihed 8 fahrstunde with my fahruschule and 4 more to go. Lets see fingers crossed.

Great job, thanks! I've seen mixed feedback online- is it 100% confirmed that one must take the practical test in German? I even saw one account where the student's instructor came along during the test and translated?
