I'm a cartoonist, graffiti artist, and a math nerd. (Certainly not bragging, just a longer way to say that I'm broke.) I can't get enough of this! And you don't need a ton of supplies to accomplish something fantastic. I dig it. It's nice to feel centered for a while amidst all of the chaos. Thank you. I've shared your link with all of my peers. Keep going, as long as it still brings you joy. Edit: Thanks for the list of tools in the description!!! Huge help!
I am a lover of sacred geometry. To day I accidentally turned utube. Grateful that you do a great service to all who love geometry. I would love all the chakra geometrical symbols. Thanks you for your love for geometry. I truly appreciate and grateful too. Blessings always.
This is wonderful and you are brilliant and so talented! I have been following you for a while and so appreciate the clear, high quality videos you are posting! I have the book you are referencing to and have also played around with that image. Thanks for clarifying and for your insights
Cool presentation. I wish that I had this information 41 years ago when I did my master's degree thesis in architecture based upon Jay Hambidge's early research into sacred geometry. My grad school mentors really didn't buy into it then, but since that time, it has gained traction and the phi ratio and spiral has now become the logo for the Clemson Architectural Foundation.
I’ve just discovered your videos. While I am actually a math teacher, I’ve been fascinated by Sacred Geometry for about 9 years when I stumbled on that as well. Math, art, and especially the compass are magnificent tools. When I taught Geometry and Conics in high school, I would always teach and practice using the compass with the students, and teach them how to make the flower of life, seed of life, just as a calming practice. If you have not seen the Super Bowl 50 Half Time Show with ColdPlay, watch the stage light up with the Flower of Life during their performance, it’s a beautiful thing.
i discovered your channel just yesterday and i cant get enough of this... it reminds me when i was young and fascinated by the magics of geometry, which is mystic, but i didnt know that , at that time... now after having travelled the world and studied yantras and sufism etc; i am soooooo happy to have found the right place where i will be able to learn and draw these magical figures... thanks sooooo much Zak !... happy new year by the way... with all the talent and joy and light !.. Isabelle
Whewww .you make this look easy 😂 it's quite refreshing to see how these are started. I paint mandalas but with dotting. I'm glad I found you and can study these processes. Thank you ❤️
This is awesome. You can draw a heptagon in here if you draw a line from either shared corner to the opposite corner of the hexagon, which will split the triangle in half. Then, measure the distance of the line you just drew from the shared corner to the side of the square. This is the "radius" of the heptagon. You can draw a circle to see the heptagon corners and then connect the points
I also learned that the method I described is an approximation, and requires extreme accuracy to make into a close heptagon. But it worked out for me within a mm with an inch side length heptagon. Still not perfect though. The ancients knew that 7 was a weird number. Also 13
I am a year late but got here in the end. Zak is the Ren of creative perception in geometry. I have been searching for him for years. The instrument handling is easy to see and follow, his comments are good
Great job on everything you're doing...I learned a few things from watching your videos.i also figured out a way to use the flower of life .....I dk if anyone else does it
Followed step by step and yes I agree at the end everything was a bit off. I use a 0.7 mechanical pencil so that might make things not as precise. All and all amazing tutorial! I've been wanting to do this for some time now and this video made it possible. Thank You Zak!
Engraçado, que fico maravilhada com cada nova oportunidade que você me dá pra evoluir. Vou tentar muitas vezes. Até conseguir fazer. Me perco muito pois te acho muito rápido, mas lhe tenho gratidão 🙏.
🤯 I can't get enough! 🤯 You say this wasn't 100% accurate. It actually is according to nature. The 7 equilateral shapes correspond to the 7 chakras. Each shape increasing in complexity is the same as you rise up through each chakra as a higher frequency. The 7th, the crown chakra, is outside of the physical body above the head. Exactly the gap ratio that the dodecagon is protruding outside the circle. I need to get this on a t-shirt with the colors for the polygons are the corresponding chakra colors. The rest of the lines be grey or thin white on black. I love your stuff!
Sick dude, this is the kinda art I’ve always been interested in it’s just much more pleasing than guess work. Plus your voice is SILKY SMOOTH in this one 3312 4 life.
Hi Zak. Have been following you for a few weeks now and this video has blown me away. Definitely going to give this a go. Is the book you mentioned a good starting place for understanding sacred geometry. Have only been drawing 4 weeks and I am already obsessed. Thanks in advance. Mark :-)
Hey Dude! I dig your content, been watching for a couple months. Got into some introductory patterns and want to go deeper. Wondering if you have any recommendations on specific brands of compass to use. Mine’s kinda wonkey Doing ok as far as pencils and pens are concerned -just curious what you are using. You’re awesome man, thanks!
Rockefeller said ‘I don’t want a nation of thinkers. I want a nation of workers.’ Here is a quote by Frederick T. Gates, one of the members of the General Education Board : “In our dream, we have limitless resources and the people yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hand. We shall not search for embryo great artists, painters, musicians nor lawyers, doctors, preachers, politicians, statesmen, of whom we have an ample supply…The task we set before ourselves is very simple as well as a very beautiful one, to train these people as we find them to a perfectly ideal life just where they are… ” Public School after the 1920’s was never about learning friend.
Olá Zak sou sua fã!! Amo a forma como vc ensina e estou na tentativa de aprender a desenhar a geometria sagrada!! É encontrei os seus vídeos que são maravilhosos!! Um grande abraço 🥰
This shows an upward C.hild O.f G.od for larger bodies where the soul is more involved slightly above the head, and a downward C.enter O.f G.ravity for smaller bodies where seeds and rams grow roots and communicate intentions along the evolute curvature.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 u r blowing my mind right now. That is amazing to me how your mind works. I epically got me mesmerized when u said "circles like to be broken into 6" 🔥👍I also love how u say the names.
I watched your YT clip, all the way through and was very impressed with how you discovered these hidden shapes. As an artist with a passion for sacred geometry, I need to return to the drawing board to discover the hidden knowledge for myself. At the end you said it wasn't 100% accurate. I can only disagree with you as what I saw was not 2 dimensional, in the traditional view. It was a 90 degree shift from the "flower of life" and opens up the discussion that if the "flower of life represents the feminine" then what you have revealed is the "Masculine" which seem perfect as the next level. In basic computing programming we use 0 and 1, again this reveals both the feminine and the masculine. With quantum computing we add super position into the mix and that then take 0's and 1's up to the next level. My belief is that in time we will go beyond "Super Position" to Hyper Position as logically it's the next state up. Perhaps humanity is not quite ready to tackle that yet. The 3rd level will introduce the "Divine" which characteristically allows the deity to empower this level beyond what is humanly possible. What you have to remember is in the beginning was God which would make 1, and then He made Adam which was 2, and then He made Eve out of Adam, so she is a subset of Adam. The deity is 3. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The Irony is that when man and woman get married we use the term that the two become one, and that in the relationship, God, man and woman are the deity in that relationship. So there is always "Order" and equally the flip side to that coin must always be "Chaos" Again that shows us that they coexist and there has to be the third element which is yet to be fathomed out. The same way that we have war and peace, which are the two opposite ends, would "Harmony" be the third element? Or the equilibrium between the two states.
I draw the flower in life when i feel in crossroad. When my energy is disbalanced, there are many mistakes and doen't look like flower. Drawing the flower of life helps me to be more present.
Comment faire pour introduire l'heptagone et l'hendecagone dans le dessin? Crois tu que cela soit possible? Merci pour tes vidéos, elles sont géniales ❤
In the garden of creation, Where the universe was born, There lies a flower of pure perfection, The Flower of Life, a symbol of reborn. Its petals are a sacred geometry, A pattern that repeats in every form, A blueprint of the universe's symmetry, From the smallest atom to the largest storm. It holds the secrets of existence, The energy that flows through all, The essence of divine persistence, The cosmic dance of rise and fall. It's a symbol of the eternal cycle, Of birth, death, and rebirth, Of the infinite potential to recycle, And create new life on earth. The Flower of Life is a reminder, Of the interconnectedness of all, Of the power of love and kindness, And the beauty of life's eternal call. So let us honor this sacred flower, And its message of unity and grace, Let us embrace its infinite power, And live in harmony with the universe's embrace.
nicwe drafting. I would argue that the shapes are less "hiding in the flower" and more from the use of the compass to draw equal length sides after mapping the angle
I’m trying to draw a vortex with the fibinochie(?) spiral. Kinda overlapping spirals, looks like an infinite petal lotus flower in the end, but I can’t figure it out. Have you tried anything like this?
