Bro, I'm 41 and I get compliments all the damn time on my Jordan 1s by good looking women.. now, these are loud like Tokyo hacks and jbalvins. Maybe they're just good ice breakers?
Yea she doesn’t know what she’s talking about …. Jordans can make the outfit itself 😂 I ain’t wearing penny loafers and shoes u wear to a wake or funeral In public I’ll stick to my forces and Jordan’s at 35
It's her list and her own opinion so whether you disagree with her or not it won't change the fact that she doesn't know what she's talking about the Jordan 1s ..
All this woman is expressing is basically to look like everyone else. Dare I say it..?! Just like her. express yourself and be happy. And if it makes you happy to do thing to be with the current trends, do that. Just do what is real to you.
Any guys watching this video. I’m here for you. Don’t worry about listening to this nonsense. Be your own person. Don’t take advice from people who are single, divorced or judgmental like this. Be your own person, be free and life will happen and someone will love you for you. Be well
This video is advice for men who want to attract women. That's fine if you aren't interested, or if you're only interested in women who set the bar really low.
Honestly, if a woman is gonna turn you down because of your shoes, of all things, would you want that kind of petty nit-picking personality in your life to start with?
My wife won't turn me down but she does notice when I put an effort in like cleaning and polishing my shoes. It's doing the little things that give them full confidence that you can handle the bigger things.
Horsebit loafers are a woman's shoe. Maybe they didn't used to be, but they sure are now. Wearing a horsebit loafer is basically telling women that you aren't interested.
This is more of a business/menswear style channel as opposed to streetwear. Both styles are valid for different situations, but she’s a little harsh on the latter.
@@tiger_lord305 yes but air Jordan 1 are now almost a classic. She may not like it but I don't think most of the women would agree. Honestly she is right most of the time and I try to follow her advice, but in this case I think Jordan's 1 can go through those boundaries. I hope I was able to explain my point, English is not my main language.
Agree! I had a builder come to my house in sliders, he didn’t get the job! Another one turned up in full Leeds Utd football strip with football-look-alike-trainers, he looked like an overgrown little boy!
Ashley, For Halloween I’m wearing Crocs with white grungy gym socks, black, torn chinos, and a cheap-a** jacket with a mullet hairstyle. Oh, and I’m going to be spraying on waaaaaaay too much cologne! The horror, the horror!
I don't care what a woman thinks of my shoes. The last thing a woman wants is to be judged unfairly by a man, yet it's ok for a woman to do it? I don't try to impress anyone with my shoes other than me. Would it be ok if I said a woman with make-up is "yuck?" Men, not boys, go by their own rules, not someone else's.
Men do it to women and women do it to men. Just don't talk about it out loud. It's human nature to judge by appearances because that's all we have to go by when we're first getting to know someone. You can ignore the fact that it's going to happen whether you like it or not, but you'll miss opportunities by doing so. Btw, most women who say they don't want to be judged by their appearance have green hair, multiple face piercings, and big tattoos. Just saying.
Typically I'm not in agreement with these faux pas lists. But, I have to admit that this one wasn't bad. That said, I still feel that you should do you, regardless of contrary opinions.
If I was an office worker, or going to a formal dinner, I'd agree somewhat. But as an outdoor person I disagree, cargo shorts and tough watches are great.
Agree with almost every point, except the horse bit loafer. It’s a classic design element that can look good with a toned down outfit. Don’t act like a Wall st finance bastard while wearing those, and you won’t come across as one! Actually, don’t ever act like a Wall st finance bastard, whatever you wear. It seems like every style advisor out there speaks against excessive logos, and yet those designers keep sticking those logos everywhere. I wonder who exactly wears those clothes ?

High Tops are designed to protect your ankles so covering them doesn't negate the purpose of wearing them. Wearing short pants just to show your High Tops off looks stupid.
Why do you have to do the Jordans so dirty! hahaha. I, like apparently a decent number of people in the comments, think they're stylish and cool, even if you have a loud color, they can be the statement piece of your outfit if you balance it out!
Especially those Hey Dude shoes. I sound like a broken record but maybe its just the area I live in where just about every single guy of any age wears them
My problem is that I have Plantar Fasciitis, and there are absolutely no fashionable shoes out there with good arch support. I honestly end up wearing North Face or Oboz hiking shoes because they have the support.
Guys who wear expensive logos are less interested in looking "handsome" and just want to convey what they view as Status. It's very hard to change how these guys see things, since they tend to be more on the narcissistic side.

@@edennis8578 that is your opinion. And yours only. As for your response to someone else telling them that if they’re not married - and happily as you put it - then their opinion doesn’t matter. Bull. I’m married. Happily - and your self centered response explains exactly the type of person you truly are. Enjoy your shoes.
Wow comparing Jordan 1s to moonboots shows that this girl is nuts .. also who tells her what and what not to wear !? Did anyone tell her knitted „sweatshirt“ looks stupid !?
Only thing I’d say is every fashion icon has a few pair of 1s (men and women), and different cultures, casually and professionally pull off white and multi colored loafers as a main piece of their fit. Might just not be in your frat circles repertoire tho
I practically agree with some for the AJ1s. I'm 50, from the Philippines and still rock the AJ1s, high or mids. Its classic and still looks great on casual and formal wear. I also add the Air Max 90s to my rotation. Leather shoes or formal are no longer relevant post pandemic days. Formal is out, Casual or Super casual is in.
She probably won't reply you. But a nope from me. There's just a bit too much going on around those shoes, and it has an outsole of a sneaker. Hybrids are never the way. Go for something with a sleeker/simpler classic silhouette like the Timberland Classic Boats.
Rubber slides OR thongs along with the Crocs. Its nice being away from fashion concerns out in non breeding functional land where fashion has to be fast to be on the nearest shelf when a replacement is needed.
Everyone always hates on Crocs, but they still sell and they aren’t exactly cheap! Let’s face it if David Beckham or Brad Pitt was wearing them women would go down quicker than a fat kid on a sea saw…
I agree about the gripe with sneakers with lots of logos. I typically wear Vans; mostly low tops and one color always. My question is are they still a reputable choice for a man's footwear choice?
Their clothing is still of good quality and from what I saw from Rose Anvil's breakdown they seem alright still. Not as big of a quality drop as Chuck Taylors or Jordans
I used to wear Birkinstocks when I worked in catering (in the kitchens), there was nothing more comfortable for being on your feet all day. But I could never wear them in public. I also had a friend who rocked up one day with a pair of beaten up tatty looking boots and I asked if he needed to borrow some money for new boots. Turns out not only were they brand new but they also cost him a small fortune. I will never understand the tramp (hobo) chic look.

Nothing at all, she takes an L on this one when it comes to Jordan 1s, they’re classic and simple and minimal, especially the plain black and white ones.
Priceless that Crocs get ripped on here when women rock slippers and douchy fur boots and Uggs-lies. Everywhere!!! Crocs rule for so many reasons you cannot possibly understand. And I guarantee you real women look at so much more than just shoes…

I wear HOKA shoes because of a foot issue, If I wore those on a date with you would they be mama approved or would they just be another thing you snub your nose at after sniffing my after shave, critiquing my eyewear and feeling my collar to see if I have enough starch in it..?
Very informative video, gents. If you're looking for a woman who from Day 1 is going to dictate YOUR personal style, marry you, and then control what you can and cannot do for the rest of your life (or take you to the cleaners in a divorce), don't buy these shoes. Or if you just want to use the woman for her body and never call her back, don't buy these shoes. But if you like these shoes and aren't despirate for a controlling woman who thinks she owns you or you would like to find a woman who would have some consideration for what YOU like, buy the shoes. Life is too short to spend it like a whipped puppy. You can do better. 😁
I hate white sneakers, she loves them, I think air Jordan's are legendary, she doesn't like them, it's amazing how today's woman will tell men what they should wear!!! I wear Ferragamo and Prada, Crocodile cowboy boots
Rubber flip flops, slides or whatever they are called now only belong in your gym shower...nowhere else. Are you being paid to wear hype beast designer shoes? No, then don't! High tops belong on the basketball court, which they are intended for. Tabi boots with heels are the stupidest things ever! Are you a ninja carrying a sword and stalking your enemy? No? Then you have your answer. Wearing a shoe to the point of falling apart is just pure, lazy ass neglect...nothing else. Wonderful vid Ashley, thanks for bringing these points up, it's sorely needed.
Now i know you tripping 💀💀💀 i seen too many ppl pulling off most these shoes 😭, now whoever those camel shoes and shoes with too many logos need help 💀💀 THE ONLY VALID shoes ppl dont need.

Slides are fine in summer when you just want to pop into the local convenience store across the street. That's about it. Sneakers of all kinds are meant for when you exercise. Otherwise, there are plenty of other options. Interesting take on loafers. I wear penny and tassel loafers but have so far steered clear of bit loafers for some, until now, unknown reason. Now I know why.
@@msk3905 Yes, exactly. Slides serve a functional purpose, that of convenience. Wearing them isn't supposed to be a fashion statement. It's not like you would wear them to work or even when you attend a friend's birthday party, unless you live in the tropics and wearing slippers to said party is considered A-okay.

I've seen once a 30 yo guy wearing Crocs Wu Tang Clan special edition, I didn't it existed, can't get rid my mind of it since then, it's probably the weirdest collab I ever seen. BTW guys don't😢 wear Crocs please, any of them, the future generations will make a fool of us
