The simple way to make at home requires water coconut oil and caustic soda.. 1 cup of caustic soda requires approximately 2 1/2 cups of water and approximately 6 1/2 cups of PURE virgin coconut oil.. Dissolve caustic soda in water stir well leave for 10mins then add coconut oil stir well for 30 to 60mins pour into mould its done... To this u can add of ur own.. U dont need any essence to it.. This should not be used immediately should be kept in shade for 30days so that the caustic soda evaporates.. So no chemicals no side effects

No prblm.. As it is dried in shade the caustic soda evaporates.. If u use within 30days it causes skin allergies and develops itching

gayathri ramamoorthy, lye doesn’t evaporate. It gets used up in the saponification chemical reaction, which is slow to finish in the cold process method. Please study organic chemistry.
