Fun fact: In terms of attack, Gladiator with all 36 Confidence Buffs it equal to Hyperion with only 2 Fury Buffs. Let that sink in!

This is how I felt about air walker. He needed several wins to get to a normal attack rating and power gain. They weren’t buffs, they were handicaps

Classic KT1 the video on Gladiator. Let’s take a step back. The design team has been pretty awesome for the last couple of years. Some unique and interesting champs. Seems like there was no creative juices flowing with Gladiator. Or they tried but didn’t work. What you said was spot on. They HAVE really good players there. Frankly if say DLL or Nah had play tested and were honest, they’d have given roughly your assessment. BTW I haven’t played Gladiator once. But you showed his performance not your views only. But I want to celebrate the wins. And Kabam has shown integrity on rebalancing for the most part. I hope they used a complete team effort to update Glad. Can’t imagine he won’t get up tuned. Pretty glaring miss. Especially as community champ. Don’t blame me, I was team White Tiger. I’m not saying the designer didn’t have passion. And I’m sure multiple people play tested. So it was a team failure at Kabam. Where’s the initial Q and A? People will have him close to 5 months some or more before he’s tuned up. I’m saving a Titan….and it’s scary…… 😂

You say there’s no creative juices, I say there was too much. The creator went too far trying to replicate the character from comic, and in being thematically potent he didn’t but enough time into considering if it would transfer well enough

@@Reidlos1773 I actually said as a possibility just what you did. I said or they tried and it didn’t work. Appreciate the time to reply… let’s hope they update him well. There’s almost no chance they will leave him as is IMO. So it’s kind of like me pulling spot: waiting for a dupe. You pull him…likely won’t use much until update is live. They’ve a built in chance to do it much better the second go. I like this better than say no Purgatory tweak yet.

@@LarryDiamond-te3yt Dude… you hit me right where it hurts. Guillotine’s story is one of my favorite things about MCOC, and I’ve been waiting for a tweak for ANY of them forever. I’ve got them all R3 minimum, and I take any excuse to use them. When Chee’ilth was first announced, my initial reaction was disappointment solely because it wasn’t another Guillotine-type champ

Gladiator feels like he has the same creative teams as Adam warlock. He is always sold as high risk high reward, but it doesn’t feel worth it. I like Adam but he is a too high risk for me to use him a lot and gladiator is of the same fold. Hyperion just seems better overall. I hope DLL makes the next summoner choice champ. I don’t understand how to use all his champions but he has made the best champs this year

Not only has he never been buffed but he’s also one of the oldest champs and he has one of the smallest amount of synergies in game. I think he only has 6 total and none of them are great. He had 3 on release and only Titania, Iceman, and now Gladiator gave him synergies after. Compare that to other champs from the same era like Hulk and Iron man and even other overpowered powerhouses like AA. They have so many. (I am not referring to generic synergies that anyone can take advantage of)

I pulled 7* Hyperion and was “hyped” but after using him was very underwhelmed. He is unduped but I remember 5* Hyperion being so good back in the day.

Poison immunity, constant power gain, armor break, non contact sp1, access to incinerates and regen. And you claim he has almost 0 utility? 0 utility in your a$$
