Hi, this is Stephen Key and Andrew Krauss. We are here to help you make money from your ideas. We started our company inventRight over two decades ago to teach people how to license (aka rent) their ideas to companies in exchange for royalties.
This process is called “product licensing.”
On our channel, we show you exactly how you to take an idea and license it to companies in exchange for passive income.
Today, you do not have to start a business to make money from an idea.
With product licensing, you don’t have to write a business plan, raise money, manufacture, market, sell, or distribute any longer.
Visit our website inventRight.com for more information.

Hello Stephen. I am not an inventor in any way. My father passed away in 2015 from cancer. When his health started to fail, I was determined to find a way for him to be able to enjoy the sport that he loved most by inventing something that would allow him to do what he loved the most. He was able to use the first prototype in trial and then not long after that, it stopped working and he passed away so I hung it on the wall, I was so proud. I got it back down not too long ago and started working on it again in his memory. I started a second prototype and in the process I decided to go a different direction for the third time. I know nothing about designing much less mechanical operations, but I am smart enough to understand that if it don't work the first time, go back to the drawing board and start over. I created my invention for the physically handicapped by changing the actual operation of another patented product. Most everything is rechargeable today, so why not make this rechargeable. I have searched the market to no end and there is no product out there like mine. My dream is to have the very first one to hand down to my future generations and be able to help the physically handicapped enjoy the sport like they should. Destiny is calling, hoping to chat with you soon!!

@@user-cg9dp6sd1j a lot of us consider our fathers to be very special people. Well, I took that one step further. I consider my Father to be the greatest man to ever put on a pair of boots and defend his country. Korea vet, may he rest in peace. Being who he was and what he loved and being his only son, I had a responsibility and a job to do. He was a vet, and then a policeman, a fireman and drove for the rescue squad, Dupont retired. Many certificates and diplomas hung from his wall. Very proud of his accomplishments. If I could do just one thing to honor him and stand out just like he did, to show how much respect I had for him, that would be a great accomplishment for me. If it don't work the first time, try again. Dream until your dreams come true!!

Found this video after trying to learn what makes a good licensing product presentation. After watching this I came out with more knowledge about the process and even made some very interesting connections with my preconceived notions of product licensing. Many of the topics discussed were things I've thought about in my own process and even executed in my current passion project which I found quite exciting. I'm new to product licensing, but I feel like I have the skills to be really successful. Really looking forward to watching more of your videos; they've been very helpful!

Stephen could you perhaps do a video about international licensing, design patent and utility patents. Specifically international, Im UK based and its a much smaller market than the US so I would need to sell abroad to be more profitable. How does ownership of an idea/product locally affect selling internationally. Thanks a lot, learnt a huge amount from you, Jack.

Most of our international students play the licensing game in the US first. They’re much more open than some other countries. Many of those companies depends on their size sell internationally.

Ive been overwhelmed with a lot of information for a lot of different people. But yours some the most realistic. I just watch the video on patent but im still a little confused by it. I do believe my idea is worth it and it will help some if not a lot of people. The catagory it falls under is automotive and it also includes in app as well. I guess if I can get pointed in the right direction it will set my mind at ease any ideas for me would be great thanks and be safe.

And why shouldn't you patent something can it don't want to give it to somebody to steal it from you and then try to sue you for
@inventRight
@inventRight 5 месяцев назад
Keep watching the videos. it’s very important for you to understand the pros and cons of intellectual property. Patents are wonderful. But only gives you the right to sue and that’s extremely time-consuming and expensive.

Another puzzling invention : US 9366404B1 Led strip with battery and controller. The claims covers just that. Its not to do with the controller nor adhesive nor led . Why is it awarded a patent? Such products available all over the net . Is awarding patents at the discretion of the patent examiner?😅

What if your good at marketing and know how to develope and manufacture your product cheap! With the internet we able to reach millions of people not just a company that has 20,000 stores There are so many Online tools to look at sales data to hit your target audience Facebook Adds,Instagram Adds, Amazon,Ebay basicly im saying the person knows what there doing and can get it to the audience online. The question is wich is best and why Licensing Deal or doing it yourself with the above being said?

Yes, inventors have many tools to sell a product themselves, but so do everyone else. Licensing is without out a doubt the easiest and lowest risk way to go. Things to always consider, when working with someone. Also look for red flags. Always type in google complaints and lawsuits. Extremely hard to hide these days. Are they on social media? If you’re not on social media, there’s a reason why. Current testimonials. Always make sure they have social proof. Are they endorsed by the US PTO? Thank you so much. Stephen
