I have another good recommendation : The application is called 'everything'. You know when you type something in the windows file explorer search it takes like forever to actually find the file. Worry no more 'everything' is for the rescue. The application is one of the best fast file search applications give it a try and its free.

I have been using Modern Flyouts for quiet some time waiting for Microsoft to release an update for their old audio control which literally hasn't changed since Windows 8. Modern Flyouts gives it a more Windows 11 vibe with support for mirror glass design.

I mean, if an operating system requires external programs to fix it, is it ready yet? I personally think it's best to stay on Windows 10 for now until Windows 11 gets good.

Microsoft rushed out Windows 11 in the fall and so it seems to be missing features and some seem incomplete. The apps in this video helps fix these problems

instead of using that last app, just select the file with mouse, then start to drag it, then press Alt + tab to move into target folder/app without leaving the mouse click, then drop it in the target folder/app

Tbh, I would recommend StartAllBack more than Start11, it’s cheaper than Start11, and colours some parts to dark mode, to complete the windows 11 dark mode experience, drag and drop are enabled by default, bring back windows 10 ribbon UI, or windows 7 style explorer UI, brings back Control Panel applets, colorised the windows experience with your accent colour, and have a feature to gives the taskbar rounded corner as well.

The current strart menu is pretty good. & the rec section gets smaller and helpful. also the search is really fast

That's true but the search results are still pretty bad. For example I have an own wiki application. If I search for wiki sometimes it shows me my application as first result, sometimes the Web Wikipedia which I have never clicked on. Or three times I can find my file in the documents folder and once it shows there is not such a file on my PC, but if I go to the explorer it's still at the same location, nothing has changed... My phone can even find Text in the documents or can find objects, text or people of my contacts in my gallery. Microsoft can't find file names..

It objectively has less features than the previous start menu so idk........ Also that stupid right click menu..... And also the worse taskbar.... It's better to stay on Windows 10 for now.... It's supported till 2025

I reverted to windows 10 because win 11 is annoying sometimes because of context menu, not being able to drag and drop to task bar and many other issues. Hope they fix the issues soon

I'm a person who uses alt+tab a lot. So i kinda a do drag and drop by dragging a PNG and using the alt+tab to go to the wanted window and drop it there. It's kinda handy if you ask me

I have 1 main issue with WIndows 11. Would be happy if someone can help with this. The issue is the tray icons in corner right, now I cannot access my volume/wifi (and many other things) with 1 click, I have to click so many times. And also the desktop peek region is so small now (this is a big problem when I use two monitors, cursor keeps jumping to the other screen)

I really love StartIsBack, basically the same approach like Start11, but it's also let you drag n' drop in taskbar, bring back old windows taskbar styles, Fix context menu in explorer and desktop while STILL using windows 11 blur style, bring back ribbons for explorer and much more. Also it's cheaper than Start11 😂
