You forgot to mentin chiggers. I moved here 5 years ago from Southern California and went to walk in the grass during the summer and got all bit up. I don"t hate it here, It definitely takes time to acclimate and the humidity!
We have bugs in Colorado too, on the high plains we have black widows, Brown recluse, scorpions, mosquitoes, tarantulas, bull snakes and last but least, Prairie Rattlers. Thanks for sharing 👍

Just found your channel today love it!! I was born in Warrensburg. Right there on gay street. But was adopted to a family in Knoxville at the time. I'm originally from Lawson . It's good to see someone actually doing positive videos about Missouri. We're not all a bunch of racist hicks like I found out most on the east coast thinks we are. Lived in Massachusetts for 20 years. Met a woman on AOL chat remember? Lol. I do miss not having the ocean and fresh seafood. But wouldn't trade it for a big fish fry and hush puppies with fried potatoes. I love our storms some that lasts all night . Out there my first year we had a hurricane and I stood out in the garage and said to my ex wife that's it ? A little wind rain and thunder. I told her she should be in one of our storms. Well just so happen the year we had so many tornados around KCMO,Liberty and other places we were here when that happened. It was hilarious she was carrying a box from us buying a carrier for the top of the van. All of a sudden a down burst of wind hit bending the trees over half way. Sent her sailing lol. She finally yelled for me to come help her. She was crying and scared her mother came with us and even she said Diane calm down it's nothing but wind. Well Diane wanted to run to a basement she asked me where's the storm shelter. I said there is none . We have a basement she then asked do we need to get the kids into it.. I laughed and said do what you want but these are real storms . I walked out with Dad and watched the clouds while she stood on the covered deck saying Gary get in here you're going to get hit by lightning. 🤣 Good times seems we don't get many of the severe storms like we used to. OBTW love the Tats.
hmmm, my husband retiring from Whiteman after years and years of service as a combat pilot at might have something to do with my knowledge of that particular base. But you're right it's probably just my friend 😂 Good talk.
