This video raises more questions than it answers, especially on costs. "You are looking at thousands of dollars" HOW MANY thousands of dollars, one or a hundred? If a video promises answers, I EXPECT answers, not more questions. Makes you wonder why they made it.
Abdurahman K You should visit as many as possible waterjet manufacturers near you or in your state...Go on 'indiamart.com' website and search for manufacturers...call them and if someone is kind enough he will allow you to visit his company and give you the best information... Better than this would be nothing. This is what I think. Hope this helps for you...
Comparing water jet cutting mesh is in no way the same as wood working. This is completely laughable. In wood working the different and increasing grit is done over time and in layers. You don't cut metal with water jet in layers. You don't cut metal then cut it again with finer stuff. You may sand or grind it down like that but you CAN'T or won't do that with water jet. What the hell?!LOL
Jeez this video is terrible. I was wanting helpful info, what I got was an advertisement for electro-servo pumps, and "thousands of dollars" cited for repair costs.
