This really annoys me actually. I remember a Disturbed concert where David Draiman (the singer) stopped the show, called out a woman who was sitting on the balcony (already a spot for people who don't want to mosh and want to enjoy the show from a distance) for texting. Turns out she was texting her young daughter who was at home while mommy went to a concert. She was extremely embarrassed and left the concert right after that. I have never felt so bad for anyone. Those singers who get butthurt over someone texting during their concerts need to calm the fuck down. Remember that they are on that damn stage with money filled pockets BECAUSE of the fans. They CANNOT forbid them to text or record them or whatsoever. They paid money to come see you. Be grateful that they are there for you. Don't fucking embarrass them in front of thousands of people because you just got your ego crushed. They can't defend themselves. It's such a low move.

People get so pissed when they can't film at concerts? That's new to me. I thought they'd be dying to see their favorite artists in the flesh. I'd get that some musicians will say they don't want fans to film them in case they have that specific rule in their contract, but fans should have the right to film snippets of a concert.
