People shouldn’t get super tied up in all the color grade/fps/best camera to get. The “coolness” of the end shot will depend more on the dopeness of the trick. Besides that I’d say the other super solid tip would be to “get your hands on a nice stiff long pole”
Super helpful and awesome content! It can be overwhelming with the amount of options you have to choose from. For someone who hasn't been doing this for very long, I found each tip very useful. Looking forward to practicing each one of these methods on the snow
I love your tutorials so much and they gave me the courage to try to do tricks on the rail so thanks so much for that. I would love to see some more tricks specifically on the rail and also would love to see some more vlogs.
I just left Laax and was at the same park getting shots. Wish I would have watched this before going but thanks for the help. Look forward to trying this out next time out.
I think a really good tip is to also say: Make 10 videos where you go shoot, cut it down and edit and by then you'll get a feel... like.. Don't expect your first or your second or your first 10 tries to turn out great or uploadable. Like with sending a trick. First you gotta eat shit a few times before you land it. Also being brutal. Realizing that you need to cut away 95% of what you film. If it isn't perfect then delete from disc straight away. Accept that not all shoot days give enough footage to make a video.
Your last comment is so right .......but now I use velcro from a roll as well. You know what will get fixed together and it removes the stickyness afterwards. If you see me I have the backpack with the 7m thick velcro roll.
Excellent. Just have a cheap action camera and only used couple of times. This helps the learning curve....two questions...1 How about a chest strap to stabilize.? 2. Is the slo mo you show in this video from reg speed done while editing? And last observation..your pole is longer than mine!!😬😜
Great video- thanks! Will be using this advise on my next strip trip in January! I've just brought a drone as well..maybe you could make a video on using drones for ski videos?
@@StompItTutorials I actually just got some brand new boots and skiis and the epic pass, IM PUMPED! We are looking at a basic gopro rig for recording better footage but we have a really old gopro hero 2, we are looking for one of those selfie sticks that can rotate the gorpo on the end. Know of any??
Great tips, any chance to get my hands on your LUT that you used on the gopro ? Ooh and also another thing about filming with gopros... if you put them on your helmet the shots get supersteady... downside is that you can't look where you are going...
Hello boss and happy holidays! I was going on a ski trip this week and I am filming with the go pro hero 8 as well. any tips on what sd card and what mounting device I should use? Truly appreciate the help thank you.
