@@colonelboston But it doest show about the quests or what exactly it is. In ghost recon, the loot boxes illustrated items that are inside. So players got bored bcse they knew everything.
@Bruce Walker Cmon man. People travel to discover something new. Why do you think they do that? because they are curious! I do study in university and history. So I know a few things about it.
I am about 300 hours into Valhalla and have restarted the game 3 times. These tips are ok if you are power 1 - 50 but later on most of the tips don’t work. Also the skill tree is the way you become more powerful by getting the +2 damage and stuff like that. In my opinion grit is a must have skill unless you like plying very passive. I would also suggest getting an armory suit that suits you and make sure you are using the 2 and 5 berm of the armor. The top. 3 armor sets in my opinion are the thegn’s armor, Thor’s armor, and the mentors set. I would also suggest getting the skill tree ability that allows you to shoot 2 hunter bow shots at once. This may sound bad but it is way better then it should be. On my 3rd save I am level 405 with 67 majesty levels and my bow does 370. This is wired because when I use the 2 shot ability my bow does 2,500 damage. The best weapon combo is the duel Speer. The dps (Damage per second) of the speers are insane and really easy to master. Everyone who is playing ac Valhalla have a fun experience.
Just got immersed in England after spending tons of time in Norway. I'm doing the Soma quests at the moment. Plan on playing a long long time. I'll keep your tips I'm mind.
@@TheMETALICA40 honestly not so much! It was fun for a few months but it had serious bugs for me so I picked up a game I could play with friends instead! Excited to come back to it though, I’ve actually been thinking about it recently!
@@loganpulsifer2649 I knew you wouldnt be excited after awhile just like everybody else wasnt just the bugs for me the animations too My male eivor has female tendencies animation because the cannon character is female and male is supposed to be Odin
I did try stealth on a few raids and it's actually kinda fun, sneak in and take out a few archers and some of the easy guys who are all off alone, or some of the more difficult enemies with advanced assassination, then use your horn to call your vikings from your ship to come help you finish off the rest.
Going in to Monasteries and killing all the external guards with stealth (for areas way over my power) or just going hard with heavy armor and a hammer in areas closer to my power. Then I bring in my vikingrs for loot and mop up. My point? I kinda suck at action rpgs, but doing this made me a lot better at the game. So far hammer and shield is my fave style.
I started the game with the hardest difficulty, and at that level, just about everything can either one shot or two shot you. The best way for me was using Brush with Death and equip high speed two handed weapon. It's very forgiving and gives you a short window for high dps every successful dodge. Using this, I was able to defeat Zealots and complete raids at zones 100~200 above my level.
I personally like having less options for armor. I like the amount of armor and style of gear available in Odyssey which was the best game I've played until Valhalla, but I'd spend HOURS upon HOURS selling gear I didn't need since I was stuck with do much of it. I like the wolf gear but my favorite is the Raven clan gear which I just upgraded at the blacksmiths for the third time and it looks so badass. I should use some runes too on my gear. As far as weapons, I use his dads axe in my main hand and prefer a second bearded axe in the other so I can whip out rapid attack damage on the enemy. But yeah don't underestimate the power of blocking, and stripping your opponents defenses. That's how I was able to defeat one of those sickening witches things on the first map.
@Jahvarn Wilson I’m also at around 200 but I’m going to get the rest of the armour pieces when I upgrade my rations. Isn’t the last piece of armour impossible to get until the end of the story since u need to kill every member of the order of the ancients?
@Jahvarn Wilson I checked a guide and it said that you can only kill the father after the story in a sidequest with Hytham. I think you only kill the maegesters in the story.
@Jahvarn Wilson damn ur good are u on drengr mode since it’s so hard for me especially the one with poison attacks? I’m also using Ac Valhalla as preparation for demon souls as the stamina system is similar.
Play anyway you want man. Just enjoy. Easy is really too easy though. Around level 90 I put it on Berserker which made it fantasticly challenging and now I'm around 150 power level and I've raised it to Drengr.
Only reason I have it on easy just cuz my little cousins plays the game as well so I just set it at the beginning and haven’t bothered changing it to berserker
Yeah and on pc (i don't know if its same on anything else) you can just pres it once on start of falling and then dont care so ability that reduces dmg form fall is pointless
@@philliesfan3414 Yestarday i completed side mission on rygafylke [possible spoiler] . . . . . . . I helped him throw his boxes of the edge then he stardwd talking to me about life and jumped of the edge so i jumped after him. It was kinda funny kinda sad.
This is good but I will have given different tips: 1. Rations - Get it to 3 as soon as you can 2. Look for the Thegn’s armor set (assuming I haven’t misspell it) 3. Adrenaline - get it to 3 as soon as possible 4. Chain assassination 5. Dual wielding 6. Brush with death For weapons, I like spears so get 2 of them and upgrade them to mythical and you’re ready to farm everything else and enjoy the game. Also since there is a glitch to get Odin’s spear, if you want that then it should be #1 on. Your list since you won’t fight anyone to get it, just use glitches to your advantage. It’s literally the BEST weapon in the game, nothing compares to it.
First off you can totally raid a monastery stealthily, I'd either enter in by myself take out the main forces and simply blow the horn to start the raid or start the raid and sneak away from your crew to take out guys on the fray. Secondly this is a tip from me. If you are in a scenario with lots of enemies on the ground the use a two handed sword and hit the LB button and hold it, which is also block. You will run with your sword pointed towards enemies and run through them knocking the backwards and down. Using this method I could easily slice thru the opposition quite nicely
In fact you dont needed to do finshers also finsher while combat also leaving you attacked by others. In valhalla you can choose two style keep parrying enemies till they stunned or going aggresive
if you find a spot where the rock hit the ground, you can get a lot of ore and metal from it and if you fast travel somewhere else and then go back to that spot where it falls from the sky and you can get more and you can keep doing it
U eventually become more experienced in the game the longer u play and more hours u out in so for those who got it early they are probably higher lvl than the average gamer who got it on the launch day
Because that’s what a lot of people are going to be searching for on release. Ppl are lazy now and would rather RU-vid how to get the best gear/skills/abilities fast upon release and these youtubers understand that each game release is a great opportunity to grow the channel. Most of these channels are pretty dogshit at the game.
Here are my tips. Use your abilities and skills to your advantage. Upgrade your gear and weapons with iron ore and leather. Use the adrenaline upgrades .use the other skill points upgrades to gain extra gathering skills like when you kill and enemy get auto loot from your raven.
Yes I agree with number two I use Thor set and stun tunes to increase stun insane and use Mjonir to do stun radius and Briton shield to heal me every time I parry
im dragnyr difficulty + master assassin stealth easly breathing through +100 level areas. Id recommend - Brush of death and grit as musts. than advanced assasination + adrenalin slots. pouch upgrade > weapon > arrows > armor Sleeping arrow also a must as you can follow up with advanced assassination. harpooning bosses againt walls + harpooning archers off the high grounds. im evasion focused.
@@youssef6439 general store, you can build one at your settlement, or find them in every settlement, you can only buy 5 at a time and then you’ll have to wait until they restock over time
I usually use 2 axes, one with lower damage but faster attack speed, and a different axe with higher attack but slower attack speed. If I am fighting a hard boss though, I use this shield I found that will heal me when I pull off a successful parry. I would suggest looking for something like that.
Nice tips. I'm just starting out about 2-3 hours in. I'm curious about exploring as i've been told to just focus on the main quest for a while....however, i've now reached the point where i'm supposed to right Ktotve (spelling, i know) but im wondering if i should explore around and do some side quests (mysteries) and gain some more skill points or weapons before fighting him? Or should i just press on, fight the bastard, and do looting and mysterying later. I hate all the gold and blue on the map i just want to do everything!!! ahh!!!
The first 15 seconds are a good image of the AI in the game.. In the first AC, the ennemis waited for their turn but, at least they try to kill you, not waiting for their deaths in front of a guys with bending a bow in front of them ^^
@@nem447 Should have known this way back in time, saves me the search for holes. Finished with Lundum and doing Francia now ... will still have good use I guess. Thanks anyway.
First video I watch from you, the first thing I notice is that you're using the old ncs music. Damn it brings back those great memories 😍🙏 keep up the work man!
I'm gonna tell you a super tip to make you a pro. You can avoid all fall damage from any height if you do an attack while falling. I hope they don't patch it out cause it makes life super convenient Edit:I believe it has to be a heavy attack for no fall damage
I am playing on normal, I head shoot everything and my raven gets me my arrows back. Don´t know if it works on higher difficulties. I have the Dublin set and went all out bow, killing stuff left and right without taking damage. Bosses are a bit trickier and you need to use weak spots at times but they still take a ton of damage from a shot in the head.
When you raid jump off without calling a raid kill most of them then go back to the ship and call a raid to get all the loot it is a little longer but you'll save health for your crew and be able to stealth it if you want
I stealth my way through a camp and kills everyone. Then I called in the raid to help me opened up the heavy chest and door , and they glitched and remained in the boat . Luckily I was able to back away from the camp and reload . When I returned the enemies were still dead and I was able to collect freely
Your video is great, but "in for a tricky time?" Anyone who explores and takes in the world, grinds resources, and upgrades should be ridiculously OP in the main story. lol. Also, yes you CAN stealth a raid so long as you have chain assassinations and the skill that allows you go grab and throw NPC weapons. 5 opponents in four seconds is my personal record. lol
Haha, I started playing 10 days ago and I’m already 80 hours in. I’m currently using all the St. George’s armour from the River Raids quest line. Apart from the cloak, which is the Steampunk because it just looks so cool with the steam coming out of it. I use Leonidas Spear and the Shield of St. George. Think I’m around power level 220. Love it.
Actually you can stealth through a raid I did twice recently hop off you boat instead of raid & stealth kill all in the area then call in the homeis to help you loot & burn 🙌😎
A ps5 game these days shouldn't have so many glitches and bugs..I can't tell you how many areas I can't 100% because a item won't spawn.maybe just my game..but I still love it
At forts, yes, I think so. Not the same amount that was there to start with, but stragglers definitely turned up after we thought we cleared everyone out.
That’s how I felt too bro but stick with it you might come around to liking it.... I did and i thought the exact same thing especially combat but it gets better
@@aronicerda520 my problem was, I only played III, Syndicate and Odessey. Picked up Odessey when it was on sale last month. Played it none stop and went right into Valhalla when I was finished. I'm taking a break now. Going back in around February. Lol
You know what’s more confusing? People will ALWAYS complain that a game is either too short or too long. I can understand the frustration when a game is too short, but what exactly is the issue when a game is “too long”? Are they complaining that they actually got their moneys worth? lol 😂
From experience, I have kids and to be able to play a game like this and actually enjoy it, it's probably gonna take me 6 months or more. Now, I'm not complaining but I can see why some would
