For 20 years, I lived abroad, and we consistently traveled with Delta or a SkyTeam partner. Both of us also hold the Amex Delta Reserve Card, which has been invaluable. Additionally, there are bonus miles opportunities, such as earning 50,000 miles upon reaching Platinum status. There are many ways to accumulate miles, and we may even do a video to lay out various scenarios. In the meantime, I recommend checking out this link for detailed information on how to obtain the 100,000 miles welcome bonus with the Amex Reserve card. I hope this helps. Feel to drop any more questions or comments.
damn, 300k - 500k???!!! even if I in apply for all the delta card, i wouldn't get that much, how much spend do you have? do you transfer your MR pounts to delta?
Thanks for your comment! I totally understand how that number can seem daunting. My strategy involves using my Reserve Card to pay for recurring bills and leveraging the card bonuses. There are great signup bonuses and spend bonuses that can really add up. With just a couple of long-haul flights and some spending, I can easily hit 150,000 points on the low end, and my highest was 315,000, which included more flying. I rarely need to transfer points to achieve that. I'll be doing another video soon to show examples of how quickly miles can accumulate. Stay tuned, and let me know if you have any other questions!
