Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'ilmin la yanfa'u, wa min qalbin la yakhsha'u, wa min nafsin la tashba'u, wa min du'a'in la yusma' (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from knowledge that is of no benefit, a heart that is not humble, a soul that is not satisfied and a supplication that is not heard.)'" Sunan an-Nasa'i 5537
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Iman has sixty odd or seventy odd branches. The uppermost of all these is the Testimony of Faith: 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no true god except Allah) while the least of them is the removal of harmful object from the road. And shyness is a branch of Iman." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Here are some ways to earn good deeds after death: 1) Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Each time one reads from it you gain. 2) Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it you gain. 3) Participate in building a masjid. 4) Place a watercooler in a public space. 5) Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or an animal sits in its shade or eats from it. 6) And the easiest of all, share this message to spread the goodness.
@42:15 the sheikh talks about the love husband and wife have and how it should never be complete love. I agree with that.i wondered why how I care for my husband and love him to an extent but its not whole, like one of his relatives who wanted to kill themselves due to wanting to marry each other. it was mental. I realised it was so stupid. How can anyone wish to kill themselves for another person. whereas now they fight daily constantly saying they both going to divorce each other. Alhamdulillah for Allah. only Allah can give u paradise and Allah is perfect and only Allah is great. How can you love anything or anyone more than Allah. May Allah increase us all to have the most love for him. The creator of the universe.

Some people have the opinion that it’s forbidden while others believe that god shows himself in many ways I.e through astrological observations backed up by science. Is it not shirk ? Or is it something that we as Muslims should just avoid and not get too caught up in ?

If yes, then you’ll be spending your eternity with the Lord. If no, then you should be crying out to God to save you.
