I love how you use the English language. "If you encounter such leaves..." I would never think to use the word encounter there, and it is absolutely elegant.
Hey Ann! Love everything about this video. Simple, to the point, no irritating music, and perfect length of the video. Love your instagram content too! You are doing great! Appreciate your efforts in making all this information easily available to fellow plant enthusiasts 💚
The clarity of your video is amazing! Thank you for investing in good equipment. Secondly, this video was so helpful because I wanted to bring back some of my annuals for next year.
good video!! I like that you tell the truth, and not saying propagating in water is the best thing ever, like other videos do.I will add that, the kind of water your using is really important too.I find that in tap water ,or filterd water, cuttings die easy,so I use only mineral water(spring water)for cuttings ,
Someone suggested me to watched your video cause according to her it is so helpful and the moment I watched it I got so inspired and it helps me a lot specially to my huge collection of rare plants... I actually have a lot of rare ornamental plants , different variety of orchid , roses and more.,.. and your video also inspired me to share my collection to my own channel .. I must say that you are the best and thanks to your great help ... Love lots ❤️❤️❤️ from the Philippines
Superb video ! I am a new gardening enthusiast and I loved your detailed yet to the point explanation. I will surely keep all these tips in mind while propagating my plants.
i change water every 3 day and also harvest rain water for my cuttings. I never leave sanseveria to air dry but i wont let the cutting touch water while propagating. I use cling film on the container and insert sanseveri through a slit and the humidity will do the job .i did propagate my sanseveria in this way. you should give it a try.
Thank so much I really really enjoyed watching you talk to us all about the propagation of our cuttings. I really enjoyed this and it made sound sense too. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too
Great content Ann. My 8 yr old daughter also likes to watch ur videos. An honest suggestion is to consider keeping the length of videos this long for a perfect attention span
Thanks dear! Thanks for the feedback too. I'm so happy your 8 year old watches my videos too. I'm honored! The only reason some videos go long is I really need to do justice to the topic.😊
Hello! amazing video! but what if i want to leave the plant in water (for instance alocasia zebrina), can i trim the roots and put it back in water or will it get a root rot?
lots of great information ...thank you..i had a big monstera cutting with big aerial roots..after 1 weeks of trying to water propagate yesterday i plant them in the soil..i dont know it will survive or not..what do you think??and should i water them or not??plz suggest..
Great video, thank you for making and sharing it, I really learned some valuable tips, many blessings to you, आप के लिए कई आशीर्वाद, உங்களுக்கு பல ஆசீர்வாதங்கள்
Your video is absolutely fabulous Mam Thank you 🙏 I was just wondering if stems of Succulents without roots should be placed just above the surface of the water or in water?these are for succulents drying in the process of putting out roots.
You're the best! LMAO plant nursery example. Now I feel stupid. I've tried and tried to root Rosemary and Lavender, they always rot. Thanks for helping:))
Thank you so much for the super informative video, Ann! I have one query. How do I know that my sensiveria cutting has calloused properly? And how many day should they be left to callous? Thank you in anticipation.
Thank you for this very helpful video . I watched it last night and so I went to change the water in the cuttings I recently made.....they doing well but I am still waiting for the roots to be long enough for transplanting into soil.....Problem ! I found aphids and trips attaching the leaves that are newly developed ! I tried to rinse them off but couldn't get them all off, can the cuttings be sprayed with insecticide and which would you recommend please? Thanks in anticipation of your reply. I am watching your videos 0:24 from Johannesburg South Africa.
Don't replace the water, saw an experiment where there was no propagation from changing water and there was huge one on the no-change water, if you're worried about oxygen, just fill a little bit of water every few days. Plants release a growing hormone that if you just dump by changing the water - then it'll impede your plants' growth.
I have a monstera mini, it's a pretty rare plant and I have two living well but three that are rooting in water, the roots got about 4-5 inches then I trans-planted but the roots pretty much immediately died and I'm water propping it agin but is that the best method for this?
Thank you for making this...the root of my vine 🌱plant is getting super long lol which is great but it helps to know what to do next with the plant baby :)
Thanks for the video! can you please tell me why my money plants didnt grow fast even if i care it well I put it light sunlights I keep changing water 2-3 days but still growing so slow☹️ I feel desperated by this! Even if i cant plant money plant how can i plant others!!
Not sure why or how a plant will decide which roots to grow, for water or soil ? Surely the root is looking for the same water and nutrients, so why if you treat the water grown roots with care will they be of no use and new roots for soil need to be grown, do you have any visual examples please ?
My aglomina plant drop there leaves only. Stem left , afer washi put in glass jar , tell me plnat can grow , or i add rice water or aloe vera gel in water as root harmone , plz guide
Hello, I am facing alot of challenge in maintaing my indoor plants during these months of summer in Delhi... Have tried almost everything to save them! :( Please please suggest what you do to keep them healthy during hot summers! Thank you! :)
Question about a snake plant (sansevieria). I took a leaf from a wild snake plant, but I didn’t cut it. I just pulled it and it slipped right off the main plant. The bottom of the leaf is kinda white where it detached from the mother plant. Do I cut it? Or can I stick it in water/soil like a normal propagation? Thank you!
