This is beautiful, and we should have more homes like it. It is interesting, though, that there was a time in many parts of the U.S. not very long ago when many more homes were this size.
@@UVIcki I know! Unfortunately, in the city where I live, builders don't build small homes. I live in a small condo that was built in 1975, but they are very hard to find. Builders would rather build huge homes on small lots and price them as high as possible. A news report a few days ago did include an interview with a Lennar Homes representative who said that Lennar will build a limited number of 1,600 square-ft homes and price them $50,000 less. Of course, the homes are so overpriced as it is that the homes will still be unaffordable for most. My city also seems to be opposed to mobile homes and tiny homes, too, despite our huge homeless problem. I think it all boils down to greed and corruption.
