the younger you are, the faster you'll progress, this is because of neuroplasticity, it helps you adapt and improve to things quicker and is stronger the younger you are and depends on diet. When you focus, neuroplasticity is triggered, when you get REM sleep neuroplasticity is triggered. Foods with omega 3 fatty acids would help with neuroplasticity because those fatty acids help you focus. Your goals and mentality in the game also matters. If you're gonna say you wanna be like rafis but you don't try to do so with all your heart, you'll never get there. Just playing the game for fun won't turn you into a god. Eustress, which is good for you, makes you more resilient, determined, and stronger. Being competitive and receiving a ton of shit from other players will be likely to give you Eustress, although sometimes that isn't the case. Putting in effort with all your heart will turn you into a better person even though it may not look it. I've received a fuck ton of things during my journey in osu!mania, hate, doubts, arguments and a lot more. These all wore me down and made me mentally weaker as i'd pretty much give up whenever i get into an argument with some retard despite knowing full well i can win it. Even with all of these things coming down at me hard, i used it to my advantage in order to turn myself into a much higher skilled player. I call myself the fastest progressing player in osu!mania, and that's because i have no rhythm game background and im only 1 year and 2 months into the game with insane skill even though there are people ahead of me with similar progression speed but more experience in VSRG (vertical scroll rhythm game) rhythm games. Neuroplasticity starts to declines the older you get and at age 25 neuroplasticity stops. This does not mean you're unable to improve in anything, but it means that you're gonna learn at the same speed as everybody also as old as or older than age 25. im out

funny funny, i'm started playing in 2015 when i was 13 years old, now i'm 19 years old and playing 6+ years and i do not improving already 2-3 years and can't play better than average not hard 5* maps, funny how you talk for everyone buy looking at one example...

@@CamelliaFlingert uh no your progress is really slow but that could depend on how much you play alot of people play like 2 hours every day some even more even thought thats pretty risky

@@CamelliaFlingert no he does speak for everyone, with time comes experience and you become better but that depends also. If someone spends 3 years doing something that they can already do then they wont improve as much, but if those 3 years were spent on doing things that they cant do. Then they'll improve a ton.
