I got a laser cut wooden Caverna insert and it makes a WORLD of a difference. Set up is literally just pulling out the wooden tray and passing everyone a board. Without it, I don’t think I’d ever play the game. But if you like Caverna, I highly recommend it. The same guy also makes one for the Forgotten folk expansion along with wooden pieces for the mushroom and crystals. Also, loving the top ten!!
Caverna is on my shelf of opportunity. It's punched and organized, but no insert. Every time I open the box I get overwhelmed, put the lid back on, and put it back on the shelf. But I am determined to get it to the table at some point! 😂
Lovin the double true crossover! Here’s my 70-61: 70- 7 Wonders Duel 69- The Castles of Tuscany 68- Space Base 67- Stella: Dixit Universe 66- Carpe Diem 65- Long Shot: The Dice Game 64- Caper: Europe 63- Akropolis 62- Cubitos 61- Raiders of Scythia
Caverna is a big hit in our house, and having a laser cut storage system is crucial for getting the game out quickly. One question - WHERE did you get those dwarf miniatures to replace the disks in Caverna. I love that the miniatures hold the adventure tokens!
"This is a family show" lmaoooooo. Followed right by a true crossover! Here's my 61-70: 61 Skulls of Sedlec 62 Horrified: American Monsters 63 Majesty: For the Realm 64 Summer Camp 65 Azul 66 Décorum 67 Enchanted Plumes 68 Tenpenny Parks 69 Kites 70 Three Sisters
Witnessing the joys of the true crossovers was absolutely delightful. Especially the exhilaration of the first one. Great stuff! My 70-61: 70. Ticket to Ride 69. Pandemic 68. Tiny Epic Mechs 67. Tiny Towns 66. Earth 65. Who Goes There? 2nd Edition 64. Tidal Blades: Heroes of the Reef 63. Cascadia 62. For Northwood! 61. Risk 2210 A.D.
You guys are the best board game reviewers who are also dumb dumb bing bongs. My 70 to 61 are: 70 - Hero Quest, Definitely some nostalgia factor here. 69 - Battle Master, Ditto 68 - Agricola 67 - Santorini 66 - Can't Stop 65 - Tokyo Highway 64 - Stratego Legends 63 - Welcome to the Dungeon 62 - Sushi Go 61 - Ra
Merry and Pippen are so cute! If you ever have puppies let me know as I had a Border Collie and like similar breeds... so smart 🙂 Their top games... Dog Park or any Uwe game with sheep. the top one I played was... Green Team Wins, easy to teach newbies and was very fun no matter the gamer level. the top one I would like to try is... Fields of Arle Looking forward to Ezra and Nehemiah arriving here soon.
My 70-61: 70. Terraforming Mars (actually surprised it's this far down, but I haven't played it recently) 69. Kashgar: Merchants of the Silk Road 68. Deception: Murder in Hong Kong 67. Quarto 66. Raptor 65. Lost Cities 64. Omen: A Reign of War 63. Aquatica 62. Carcassonne 61. Cascadia
Witchstone's mini-expansions in Full Moon are nice little variants. I liked the "big witch" worker variant, where the miniature replaces the big meeple and you then get a double activation worker quite a bit. I wish the insert was better in the base game though, because it really doesn't keep everything in place well.
An interesting mix of games I own, games I want to try and plenty of games I haven't even heard of for this 10! Quadropolis juuuuust barely kept in my list at 100, and Cartographers was in the last 10. Also slight spoiler, Cribbage is still to come. 70. 5 Towers (New) 69. Gravwell 2nd Edition (Down 2) 68. Patchwork (Down 9) 67. Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: Annihilageddon Deck-Building Game (New) 66. The Castles of Burgundy (Up 39) 65. 5 Tribes (Up 54) 64. Modern Art (New) 63. Wingspan (Down 19) 62. First Empires (Down 24) 61. Final Girl (Up 5)
"This is a family show" immediately followed by "This is Dracula vs Van Helsing" really made me laugh.😂 Know exactly what you meant, but just goes to show other people have different definitions of "suitable for families" 😉
