Your hill climb tests are extremely valuable to me. Its great that you try many different PEVs on the same slopes (and very extreme ones). I live in a place that has huge hills everywhere and hill climbing is incredibly important to me.

Just for interest: While the LG M50 are only rated at 7,3 Amps continuous and the Samsung 50E/50G are rated for 10 Amps....several! tests in the flashlight industrie have revealed that the LG in practical life is also capable of 10Amps. So there is no real difference if LG M50 or Samsung 50E are used. Lately the 50E even went up in price insanely high. The one and only other (nearly) 5000mah rated cell that has a REAL better amp capability is the Molicel M50A (4800mah)with 20 Amps. there is just only one problem...its about 40% more expensive....so it wont be used in euc production. For a privat project i am using the Molicell p42a.....4200mH/with 30-45Amps.... In a 4parallel config that is capable of 120-180Amps(4*30-45) instead of the usual 40Amps(4*10)..... Yes, some capacity will be missed, but as there is literally no voltage drop anymore i exspect them todo nearly the same range as a 5000mah cell :-)

You've made me really reconsider selling this wheel now and hoping for something better in the near future. I haven't even ridden it much yet due to the crazy weather we have in NY, so much rain, almost every other day. Safe riding!

Good info. Choosing between a €1800 RS19 and a €2350 V12. Even with a 30% higher price and similar battery+motor specs, the waterproofing and build quality makes V12 the winner. Kinda wanted the RS19 to win cause of how much easier it is to open up and change tire+tube, when that time comes.

I appreciate your insights into PEVs, but please stop saying things like along the lines of "Samsung cells are better than LG cells" (with any company). Samsung and LG both make a massive amount of different battery cells that have wildly different purposes, some are made for higher discharge/charge while others are made for higher capacity. Any statement that compares the cells of one battery brand to another brand (when both brands are top of the line) is going to be inaccurate. If you want to make those statements accurately then you need to be far more specific about the actual cells your referring to (yes, they all have model numbers and detailed spec sheets). Its also an oversimplification to state that the specific cells are the problem, you can put 1,000 of the crappiest Chinese 18650 lithium ion cells in a wheel (assuming it would fit) and it would provide more power than anyone could ever need. The total quantity of cells (and size of cells: 18650, 21700, 26650, etc) has just as much to do with the performance of the battery pack as the model of the cells. I really appreciate your videos, but you have to understand that making inaccurate statements when you have a following of 35,000 people has a detrimental impact on the 99% of followers who don't know any better. The best way to be safe about not making inaccurate statements is to not get too specific about a topic that you are not extremely well versed in. Please don't take this negatively, your videos are great, and I only want them to be better.

I dont know why i keep watching these videos, since i have already decided to get a Sherman (when i will be able to get one, in half, one, or two years from now)... or something of similar or more power/quality that may come out this year. But i guess its probably because of the EUC Bug :))

Maybe the soft rubber compound of the tire is the reason why it's so grippy and nimble. Something harder and more long-lasting would likely loose those desirable handling qualities.

What version of the RS19 do you talk about? Do you think all the flaws will be addressed in the next version?

Watching this makes me wanna get an euc too but I just looked up the legal situation here in Germany and I forgot about it again. -According to road-traffic licencing regulations, every vehicle that's faster than 6km/h needs a seat, handlebar brakes, lights and a mirror. --> Eucs don't fulfill these requierments so can only be used in areas seperated from puplic traffic. -Also any motorised vehicle thats faster than 6km/h has to have a mandatory insurance. But since there are no insurences for eucs you would commit a crime just by using them anywhere. - to be treated as an electric bicycle it would need 2 wheels. But since it only has one and there are no categories for monowheels it automatically falls into the same category as a car. Therefore you need a drivers license class B to drive an euc. But hey doesn't matter since your are not allowed to drive it in puplic areas anyways

Would it be easy to overpower the RSS if I was to accelerate up a 10-15 degree hill? (I’m 158ibs) I’m in a predicament between the RST and RSS; and what I’ve found is that the RST is mostly for people that ride off-road (and I don’t) so I really am just wondering if I’d be missing out if I was to go with the speed.

Not so sure about U-rail. Its mounted in the same weak screw holes. And now, there's a bracket on the front under the light- which is the crash weak point. There is cushion, but still it takes impact. Splyce Guard (Kevin Holderman) Guard, however deflects front and rear impact AWAY from the nose. If anything, it'll slide back. I can lift and throw my wheel around with the Splyce, so I can't see it slipping(squeeze it tight b4 mounting)

The real issue remains Toshiba has a picture of a unicycle on their scib website. I'm waiting for somebody to take the bait and produce a wheel using their chemistry because then you can charge at multiple kilowatts and never worry about fires or having to replace your pack!

U-Stride recently demonstrated there is a significant difference between MSP speed and torque. RiP HS. There is still a market for lighter wheels. But I don't trust a wheel with unstable temperatures. This is just cost savings I think. I guess the assembly line hasn't change at Gotway/Begode. They are doing the same thing for years, without any optimisation the production line.

The truly interesting euc release to come is surely the next batch of gotways. It will be make it or break it for gotway. I think they will lose large parts of their euc market share if the next batch flops too.

Do you by chance know if they have improved all or most of the issues with the hollow core motor bearings yet? or will it still get misaligned and rust at the slightest breath of moisture? Final question do you have a link for the pads you said you prefer? :)

I wonder over every euc off-road ride I see that no one have a safety strap like u have when u ride snowboard. I mean almost every crash when u ride in too steep slop’s results in damages on ur euc. That a strap could prevent. But what do I know🤷🏻‍♂️

These things look incredibly fun BUT also incredibly dangerous. Personally, I would only ride if max speed was 20mph. Any faster and I’d kill myself. 70kph is bloody crazy. I wonder how popular these will get. I live in London and not seen any1 ride 1 of these crazy machines.

I completely understand the love/hate relationship with Begode wheels, but (imo) the community is going to have to take a firmer stand regarding poor manufacturing. I think the structural failure rate of Begode wheels is astonishingly high, but people write it off as user error. I've ridden both my kingong 18XL And S18 into big crashes, and they come out perfectly ridable. I had a sub 5 mph crash with the MSP that split/broke the face. 2,3,4,5 generations of this wheel, still dealing with the same structural issues?
