Hello, not a dermat but a pharmacy student here. Retinal is basically short for retinaldehyde. It’s a retinoid and a form of vitamin A. (In short) It’s the form before getting converted into retinoic acid. As per me, mostly this form is used in formulation because it tends to act faster on the skin. Hope this made sense❤️🫶🏻

Hello manasi tai , retinal is an aldehyde version of retinol ; it's a form of vitamin A which is 11* more effective than retinol . So the conversion is retinol palmitate -> retinol -> retinal -> tretinoin . I hope you understood. Btw not a dermat but love reading about skincare. Loved the video❤

There are different derivatives of retinoids which include retinol, retinal, tretinoin, isotretinoin, adapalene, tazarotene, etc. Retinal is also one of them, but it is newer on the market, is supposed to work faster than retinol, and is also less irritating than retinol.

So Happy to see you grow through your dream.....😍 I'm not a dermat but as per my knowledge 1PPM stands for 1 part per million, so for indicating the concentration of a particular substance in a solution. So, in skin care it is used to measure the concentration of active ingredients in a product, here referring to retinal.... Hope this helps.....

Heyy Manasi, the innisfree volcanic face cleansing is available on Nykaa. Also I saw the review and it says that it's not suitable for dry skin as it removes everything from face. Since mine and even yours is dry skin just wanted to know does it give dry patches after using and also what should we apply after using this. Also did it give you any breakouts. I have ordered the innisfree green tea cream so just looking forward to it 🤞

Retinal is not milder manasi, its stronger than retinol. That’s why its used in lesser percentage in the composition. Google the difference, you will get to know.
