Green was a bold choice, looks great. Fantastic brush work on the lights, grill, and door handles. With the cattle guard removed you can see a resemblance to the El Camino of the same period.

While the real standard Holden Ute had a more convex opening at the back, there have been countless body modifications by hot rod and drag racing enthusiasts resulting in similar customisations to your 'resto.' Especially in New Zealand, where I am from. I had the original toy you restored and modified. But mine had 7UP logos and was re-named a 'Ruff Trek.'
