for 24. i put light blush on my characters so they wouldn’t look too pale and dead inside, and it makes it more cuter and adds something more to the face if it’s plain for 32. if the outfit and accessories look good with the hair then why not?

One more thing. Using a bit of fantasy you can turn many "hated" things into the main point of your story. Let's take hybrid that doesn't know who they even are. He/She can be the main character of mini movie, where all people get a spirit right after they borned(1 or 2 max). This character, for example, got three spirits (because spirits liked him/her). With it he/she got insane power she/he can't control. And this will become the main conflict - main character will have to take herself/himself as he/she is and learn to use their power to help others. You got the point.
For The Pupils One, Just So You Know: Some Ocs Look Really Good Without Pupils. And Sometimes The Eyes The Ocs Have Cannot Have Pupils Because Of The Design. Even Most Of My Ocs Including My Own Have This. Calling Them Plain Is Just Going Overboard, Don't You Think? (It's Also Somewhat Offending To People Who Spent Hours Making Their Oc.)
@@bigdawg2004 I know, but it’s a pet peeve of mine when every OC in a non mystical or unique realm, like say just people hanging out in a fanfic about school, and instead of being unique and creative with every character people decide to make that the common special trait for all of their OCs
@stalebread just an example. a better one: a universe that explodes after a dragon terrorizes a city. a character is just bland if the only special thing about it is “oh shes the chosen one pretty eyes woahhhh” like, give them something more unique since that’s everyone’s “special person alert” go to. like they waltz around wearing bear skin or have neon highlighter yellow hair for all I care, just god, I hate the go to “my character has purple and green eyes pls think they’re special”. I agree, why can’t people have imaginations? Why overuse the special eyes=unique character thing?
About the hair over eyes, I have those bangs and I see just find- hair isnt one solid object, its a bunch of little ones, So I see just fine through my hair, ppl just assume " oH YOu cANTtT sEEEE aaAa "

They call them tomboys even though they wear skirts almost all the time. I almost never see tomboys in gacha videos actually wear pants. I think for those type of oc they could just call them baddies or something.

3:53 Being a tomboy doesn’t mean you cannot wear skirts or dresses. You just need to wear them in a manner which shows off your strong side or a little power. Plaid and pleated skirt with a plain top and black heeled boots.

For the height thingy , an adult woman height is ranged from 4,10 to 5,11 but the average height is ranged between 5,4 and 5,6 , after 5’6ft it’s considered to be fairly tall (5,7-5,9) after 5’9ft it considered to be very tall for a woman, males are different , but anyway looks doesn’t matter for me at least you have a nice personality.
Blushing could also be used as a natural redness to the cheeks, as I was born with it from my dad, and I always get asked if I wear blush or not, I just have a natural rosy ness to my cheeks 😅

I agree with almost all of them: For big hair in eyes, it looks pretty and cute on charathers and some people can see through it For blushing, blushing can be for embarrassment and other stuff like make-up
3:15 Actually, my hair is thick enough to fully cover my eyes and look very similar to that with very little gaps. You *can* actually see. It’s just kinda harder than if you don’t have hair in your face. You may have to squint or adjust the angle your looking at the thing. So, 26, you can semi-see. It’s not quite a block of hair, you can see the gaps (and see through them) better because they’re right up to your eye. A lot of shirts do this too. You don’t see much light going through it or see through it when it’s on your body or in front of you, but if you were to put it up to your eyes, you could see through the shirt.
I like using those eyes for my character. They look cute, and fit the general aesthetic I have for most of my characters. If I'm going for something else than yeah, I'm gonna use different eyes. Like, if I'm going for a scary character, than I'm not going to use a cute eye, but those eyes are what fit best with the general character designs on my channel.

I agree with you on this. Even though they said this wasn't MEANT to offend everyone it kind of offended a lot of people and I see why. She said a lot of these things in a very direct way. It could hurt people who are proud of the work they put into the meme and make them feel judgemental about themselves.

Like you just took your oc, put a mustache on it, and say its “tOtALlY NoT mEh.” People also give them really dumb personalities that are supposed to be ‘funny’ but i find them insanely annoying. They did that a few years ago (from what I’ve seen) where most everyone in the gacha community was being weird or quirky idk now it’s a little annoying but for me I just find it nostalgic lmfao

Okay I'll be honest, if people are really triggered about hair not lining up with each other in Gacha Life, why not use Gacha Club? There are more hair options, more colors, etc. Also, if people are gonna say "ugh it's too hard grr bark bark " Trust me, I also thought the same but eventually I got used to it. You can't really judge something if you don't try it out first yourself 👀
Wait- people think gacha club is HARD!? Damn, when I first started playing gacha, I immediately went to club instead of life and it was the easiest thing ever- especially how you don't have to keep going to the home part to change things about the character.
@@Ceriah Yes, Gacha Club is hard when you first start it after Gacha Life. Since Gacha Life is easier. But the benefits of Gacha Club is that you can make more characters and have 2 more per screenshot, and more accessories, hairs, Hair colors, etc.
I personally like using the hair in the eyes for poofy hair. Usually some of the eye is still showing under, so that you can see a bit of emotion and tell they can see. I have hair that covers my eyes in real life, eventually you just get used to it and hair is usually pretty thin so the person behind it can see half the time. If it's styled that way of course.
Fun fact: Glasses can be really cute on your oc, for example, in gachaclub you can get the round but no lenses glasses, change their colors and adjust the hair clip accessories. It's rlly cute!
I myself used to do the first one, that was around when I had first joined the community though. I now make sure all of my characters are unique and have different eyes. It helps even more that I use Gacha Club so I can adjust them and make them even more original! Also the short people thing has one exception. Some people are legitimately shorter. It is annoying when 1. Almost ALL of the characters are short or 2. Just the girls are short.

as someone who has hair in their face irl I can in fact confirm that we do not see and before growing our hair out like that, often we choose to scoop out our eyes with ice cream scoops and eat them since we don’t need them anyways

Okay, I agree with most of these, but the “when someone claims to be a Tomboy and wear skirts” … I’m sorry what? The clothes someone wears doesn’t affect their personality. A tomboy can wear a skirt, it wouldn’t change the fact that they are a tomboy. The definition of a tomboy is: “a girl who enjoys rough, noisy activities traditionally associated with boys.” It doesn’t say anything of them having to specifically having to wear something to be what they intend to be or are. Like, you can’t expect like, someone who’s apart of the LGBTQ+ and wear something that proudly announces “hey I’m this ____” that’s just not how it works :/, most of the time a characters clothes can definitely help explain a characters personality, like if their clothes or rigid or very messy it can say a lot, but that’s not always the case. I dunno, this is just my opinion

Just something from experience, I was curious about TV characters when it came down to 26. So, I grew my hair out and put it in front of my face for a day or so before moving it to the side again. You can see through it, but it's hard. Especially when the hairs occasionally stab you in the eyes... I can see why people like it though. The look was good, but hard to keep clean because there's so much.
I need an opinion: My character has hair covering their eyes because they're actually very self conscious about their eyes and think if people see their eyes, they'll see how scared they really are in scary situations. They are honestly very clumsy and bump into things a lot due to it so they can't MaGiCAlLy see. Is this a bad design for a character or...?

I respect your opinion and agree many of your opinions. But, the "No pupil" actually doesn't makes sense. For an example, I'll get Hinata & Neji from Naruto. Hinata & Neji doesn't have pupils but they can see everything, It is an anime, so it's fictional but I've seen many people out there who don't have pupils but can see every single thing. I would also like to tell you that the "adult with short height" even this doesn't makes sense becouse they're so many adults in short height. No hate or offence toward you, but many of your opinions make sense

alr for 5 i just wanna say they’re just trying to go through with the basic rule for color pallets like one dominant color and one other color to compliment it you could add multiple complimentary colors, just make sure there arent any colors competing and dont use eye bleeding colors i recommend using dull base colors usually because it looks better and when you add details and shading the color theme doesnt look heavy (im not offended i just wanna say its not that bad of a design, but i do agree its boring and people could add more, but like damn it aint that bad)

For the blind adding light gray pupils (that fade) looks nice or making their eye color a very faded color like light blue with white pupils (characters that aren’t blind and have light colored eyes can have a darker version of their eye color as their pupil) Also one thing I dislike, purely aesthetically, is when characters have black freckles instead of a brown that is a bit darker than their skin tone.
