I always thought it was an icemaking machine continuously discharging to a chute that went to a conveyor where the ice was bagged. I had no idea there was so much more to it.

The number of bags depends on the bag size. If the ice makers are operating efficiently and the ice quality is good, they should be able to get most of the 700 tons of production in the bag each day.
