Yea there's definitely something not right with the srx could be the clutching, I have a 99 mountain max 700 with boyseen dual stage reeds and triple pipes and have never lost a race to any 800 let alone a twin 700 polar ass.
Polaris had been and always will be far superior that yamaha sorry man I have a 700 twin that eats any 700 yamaha triple. I also have a 200HP 780 mach z that no new 850 can touch
I agree Christopher, that Yamaha should have been able to beat that Polaris both times... A friend of mine had an SRX 700 triple, and he was blowing away ski Doo 800s, Polaris 800s, he would get about about 6 car lengths ahead, and the others couldn't even catch him.
That srx is for hard pack not powder track isn't right I think it's. 75 but not sure it's small lugs made for racing on a packed surface or picks with ice just my 2 cents
both my sx 700 and 600 .beats 700 twins all day long . and my 700 has smashed a 800 mxz ..dont understand how that sxr got beaten ..maybe poor track ??
Wrong 700 bug block twins when tuned and running optimal eat 700 triples buddy I know because I own one 8nsane powerhouse I've owned one 700 yamaha triple these were the last greatest yamaha ever built but are not actually that fast wantna fast sled get a 2000-2002 XCR 800 triple triple
take some names 700 I have an 02 Yamaha viper and I raced my cousin who has a Polaris 700 and I absolutely smoked him. I also smoked my dads Yamaha Nytro
I see alot of bashing toward 700 BIG BKOCK TWINS. These polaris 700s are a far better motor and once steupnin true optimal performance eat these old heavy grandmahahahas sorry I own 700 big block and it destroys amd decimates these triples
