@@MrAronymous Don't worry, they probably won't get appropriated. At least where I live in the Ruhrgebiet, Poffertjes are a staple at every Kirmes and Weihnachtsmarkt and everyone knows they're a Dutch invention. But we also live quite close to the border and had Dutch engineers here in the 1800s, who built the canals for the steel and coal industry, so I don't know how far that knowledge reaches to other regions.

They are profitable, so yes, of course. Very much like the bottle of coke a few shots after.

I have to disagree, I think. Capturing the spirit of such an event perfectly is an art in itself, and it is not done by putting together random snippets of film.

Have you noticed how perfectly the editing matches the music? (e.g. the cymbals at 1:21 , generally the cuts hit the rythm of the music the cut at 0:41 from the vibing of the visitor to the synchonised stirring of the food...) there are oodles of loving edits to be found in this short film. Good editing is WORK.

He made these kinds of videos in the past, it's nothing new. Sometimes you don't even need words, just feel the vibe of the place and Andrew does that quite well.

It's the first time I noticed how carefully he matches the editing to the music. Perfection.

Just wanted to post the same. Even the lip movements of the musicians were in synch with the soundtrack - a musician myself, I applaud! There are TV and cinema productions that wouldn't bother at all... ("Who cares if you actually CAN play the clarinet, kid! Just blow into the... the end where one ought to blow into, and move your fingers up and down on the... the holes and the buttons. Nobody will give a fig about!")
