Back in the day i remember they used to play Sion ap mid with Morello (back when Morello was a mana item). E to W max and you could waveclear insanely well.
Old sion e was his phisicall damage boost skill, you'd max w then q since W and 3 autos into melee minions cleared the wave and q was a 100% ap scaling point and click stun.
I build demonic embrace in aram a lot with far less than 7K hp a lot of the time and sometimes do 10k+ alone with the burn not to mention the AP scaling on his W and E even though its low percent values its still extra damage along with the health also.
Obvious yoke, you can see another example at 12:55. Baus himself said multiple times tank Sion is better, but not as fun/memeable, therefore "tank abuser" yoke was born

I love titanic and demonic with just hp stacking, warmogs and fimbulwinter/anathemas, maybe visage last. I’ve had 9k hp before, had about 350 ad, 200 ap, and just walked at people to kill them.
fimbulwinter is waste if you aready have 8k hp, at this point it's much better to go rezists. Gargoyle could give you 4k+ shield. Unless you need mana, but then fh is just better.
Demonic is pretty nice, having the big numbers boost for both W and E alongside the great burn passive for extended fights that Sion creates naturally due to his extreme amount of HP. Atleast so long as you don’t go full squishy then you can do quite a bit with it. But you are reducing the amount of tank you could have by a decent amount by not building resistances. So I would say this is an amazing item for spellbook, and a okay item if you need some more magic damage/ are facing non-max HP true damage.

bausffs pre durability-patch: there is too much damage in the game. tanks will never be meta. bausffs post durability-patch: no-one ever dies. everyone is too tanky.
Consider building Tear to replace the potion nerf during the early game. You can end up turning it into a legendary item or sell it if you're looking for another legendary item instead. It's just a cheap replacement I've been using lately.
