@@obeisanceplaysmc I did. My mom didn't. She made me promise to never ride it again because I crashed it so often. That, and it was so noisy you could hear it from just about anywhere in the neighborhood.
what hp you get on a dyno depends on the dyno you are using, ive seen results on the 701 from 60+ to 70 whp and they were not stock, the 70whp had 58nm i think.
So fun to relive my youth. Born on a Elsinore love all the big ones 450/480/500cr. My favorite was my 79 husky with the 430 head and 13 inches of fox! What a pissed off bee that was! Figured I was getting old so I took a crf450r off the showroom in 05. Ya well it worked out fine and I got that out of..... You are a exceptional rider and that's a beast
Not even near to r1 atv built for off road, the most arm pulling 2 wheeler was a 2009 light tuned kx450.. That thing don't know why but it felt after the long gearing as the most monster mid to high range pulling power I had ever felt.. I drove them all Yz450, cr50p, Yz450, crf450, ktm 560,450..but the most powerful of them all was an mx atv yfz450 with cb920 hornet engine, the low end pull till red line was way more than r1 atv.. Next toy is raptor with suzuki 650 i4
@@commantrosexetlos4700It's hard to look cool on a quad, your the only one that felt the need to speak up and qualify yourself by trying to outdo a 700cc 2 stroke bike. Typical atv rider trying to hang.
You should make this Big Bore 2Stroke an Enduro. I grew up in an '87 Husqvarna WR 430 2 Stroke Enduro, & having that much torque on that Big Bore really helped in the woods, uphills, plus the flat out top speed is great. That's just my suggestion guys.
@@ztit1they actually are fast they just aren't fast on dirt because you never have the space to proper wind em up, a riding buddy of mine had a 90s Suzuki 125 on supermoto tires, was pretty modified though, that thing could almost touch 130 mph on the freeway if you held it wide open for long enough. I'm fairly certain he was spinning that poor little thing at double the factory RPM 😂
Suggestions: Don't skip leg day at the gym so you can kick that big girl over! See if you can route that intake differently...possible frame modification. Opferman has done a lot with the Big Bore Zebel's. Maybe you can get some ideas from his videos. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hGftJa4u-h4.html
This little beast is something I think any two smoker lover should have in their lives lol even though theirs to much power and stuff keeps breaking I would never get upset even the 5-10 minutes to a time u could run er would be the best 5-10 minutes of my life lmfao I wanna see some air time on this monster or be the one putting in air time I'd definitely volunteer for the position of test dummy without a doubt lol nice job guys
SAHAWN PeltonYES that is alot of power on s dirt biketoo muh for me. But imagine having a 2 stroke w3 piston 3head &3 pipe &3 carburetors 750cc dteet bike where the tire doed not spin so much not in the dirt with street tires .It woulg wheelie so easy be carefull and learn it well first . It could wheelie awaw on a big highway even without using the clutch!
How come every time I see a 700 Maico video its always some dude riding on a simple dirt road or trail. I want to see a real pro pull the friggin trigger on that beast on a real MX track like Glen Helen. Imagine that 700 at the uphill start and watching it bury those 450's in roost!
Yeah, they have a lower exhaust note and generally don't rev very high. Everyone assumes they either aren't running right or the rider isn't 'hitting the powerband'.
I remember riding a Husky CR500 my buddy needed a break so he took my Husky WXC250 and i took his, that was absolutely an amazing bike, never got close to it's potential!!!! It was a frigging rocket 🚀!!!!
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (Jn.3:13-21)
The only true 700’s out there are the Maicos and extremely rare ATK’s, great bottom end torque, unfortunately everyone who doesn’t ride a big bore thinks you can stuff a Zabel engine into a light frame to get a fast bike, and unfortunately it doesn’t work like that. Awesome build, but take it from someone that spends much time wrenching on big bores, don’t expect to stay ahead of the pack, whether on the track, or the trail. 🏁
@@darylsmioth1904 you can throw something more dependable in there. If I were you I would go with one of the CFR450 engines or a CR500 engine. Super dependable, can take serious abuse, better parts availability. But then again if I had an Elsinore, I’d either try to do a frame up resto, or charge a collector big bucks. 🤔
Yes. In 1984 Maico contracted Zabel. To design their new water cooled cylinder. Zabel was known for Sidecar motocross racing in Europe. His knowledge of knowing how to make a two stroke make tremendous torque. Is what brought Maico to design their water cooled cylinders for the new 1984 models which in the states they were rebranded as a M star. That is the same cylinder set up and bottom end that is still used to this day in manufacturing the new model Maico’s. Other manufacturers purchased the rights to manufacture those engines to sell with their name on it. Zabel even did the same thing up until his passing a few years back. Look up a picture of a 2022 Maico 700. And you’ll see it’s the same motor that is in this particular bike! I own three different Maico‘s. All with this same configuration engine. A 1985 250 M star. A 1986 500 M Star. And a Merkle 320 Maico. Hopefully that helps explain my comment above. Wonderful bikes. If you ever get a chance to own one I would suggest it👊🏻💨🏁
Have a TM EN 300, made all new in the carburator, new reed valves, spent about 1000€. Started the bike and it was finally runing, after 6 months work. It was running well, took a seat on the bike and was driving for 1 min and the fuel hose ripped. x.D How bad luck was that x.D
Yes your work has paid off.... These other bands are vegetarian.... Your sound is not soft.... And your slamming lyrics down like a barbarian.... again your fan Steven Cordell ❤
I need it, it's a monster, I don't want to kick it, but I need it anyway 😅👌😍 Edit: I know you can buy a brand new Maico 700cc 2t currently, you can either get it in MX or Enduro flavor.... unfortunately it's like $20k 😅
Im so glad to see the frame isnt aluminum. Ive never been able to get comfortable no matter what kinds of mods. Amd the 2 stroke is absolutely the icing on the cake. The sound the smell and the feeling of the ride is what exited me and got my blood flowing as a child and still does. Its the only thing on earth that still gives you the same buzz as the 1st time you tried it. Nothing else, no substances or anything can do that. Im super curious. Did you forge that or is it even possible to big bore a 500cc into a 700cc? Im guessing it had to be forged. Im a die hard 2 stroke and ultra comfortable wring my KTM 250SX out and the only thing that broken was the shock. Ive replaced the top end several times just to see what the newest piston was like. But nothing has ever broken on it. Its been the most reliable bike ive ever owned. Im comfortable on a 500cc but not wringing out in 4th comfy. I cant imagine a 700 and l wouldnt even try in the snow. I laughed when you said its almost winter....when theres snow everwhere. It never snows where l live. But that was hilarious.
No F'n way this 700cc the sound frequently would be much lower. The bike would easily (dangerously) put the front wheel up in every gear ... can't fool this westerner.
