Do NOT run the wire across both fuse terminals as shown. Bad video.

Looks dangerous, you disable the fuse… In case of a electrical shortage the fuse will blow and the wire across the fuses terminals will eventually catch fire… Use piggyback fuses instead…

I didn't take the risk and bought Viofo's fuse tap for installing hardware kit.

"DO NOT" replicate how the person wired up the hardware kit. You risk creating a short circuit and it's a fire waiting to happen lol. Use fuse taps instead, it only costs a few bucks and it's way way way wayyyy safer than what the person did.
