My introduction to Dimmu was enthrone darkness triumphant in 2000. Loved this band every since and also Old Mans child also is amazing. But yeah, Dimmu has been one of my favorites since i discovered them. I really enjoy the re-recorded stormblast MMV that albums is an important piece of history imo for symphonic BM

Puritanical Misanthropia was my gateway album. I was hooked by the varied vocals and intelligent production. They still do the electronic/symphonic thing best.

Annoyingly they are called a commercial black metal or a gateway bm band but i still think they are my favourite bm band ever since i saw the Sacrilegious Scorn music video in 2010 that got me into the genre.
