Two clips of loco 71000 'Duke of Gloucester' running for the first time on the Cauldon Low branch ( MCR ) for gauging purposes prior to the re-opening gala weekend. Apologies for wind noise at Winkhill, but at 1000 ft up it's VERY exposed up there!

Great to see the Duke up in the high parts of Staffordshire. Hope you will upload today's video from the bridge at Bradnop where we were today for the special.

The house at 1:55 is near Blackbrook Zoological Park off Ellastone road at The Casey. A good place to stay if your in the area is Rock House Farm Cottages.

Sorry, Tarboat, I did not video at Bradnop! I went instead south of Apesford, and got a reasonable bit of video there of the Duke re-starting from the crossing. I have uploaded the video to RU-vid but it's taking a while to process.
