Warlock's Movie Realm returns with an unfortunately short video. In 1928, Emil Jannings won Best Actor for his roles in The Last Command and The Way of All Flesh. Unfortunately The Way of All Flesh has been considered lost except for two 3 minute scenes.
What WAS the movie about? Emil Jannings finds that his long lost son is an accomplished orchestral violinist. He then meets his son without giving away who he is. The movie must have been good if Jannings won Best Actor for it.
