Catriona really made an impact in the pageantry proving to the world that MU winners are not just pretty faces. She did a good job doing commentary hosting considering it is her first time at MU. Commentary hosting backstage is quite harder than doing the main hosting front and center because it is not scripted and you have to be quick with your thought process especially throwing all these adjectives that resonate and do not sound repetitive. There is a fluidity and eloquence of deliverance needed to be a good commentary host and you have to be a well-spoken after all.
History repeated the miss universe 1994 Susmita Sen(India) crowned 👑 Chelsi Smith miss universe 1995 (USA).. And today Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu (India) crowned 👑 R'Bonney Gabrie(USA) Miss Universe 2022.
Sadly in 1995 Manpreet Brar was supposed to win instead of USA and India was going to win back to back crown. Miss India's answer was not only good enough but her overall performance was more than enough to be winner that night......
I cried when I watched Telma Madeira (Portugal) get picked. About time Portuguese women get notice for their beauty and elegance. She was stunning and made Portuguese very proud. 🇵🇹
I commend USA's gown choice. It was a unique, bold black piece that stood out. I love how she seemed so comfortable and confident in it. On top of that her eloquence, passion and grace really shone through. Well deserved win!! So proud to be Fil-Am 💓☺

@sboudreaux27 they have placed already in the top 5 (eg. in 1997) and in 1968 their contestant was even first runner up (and the first black woman to reach the top 2 in a major beauty pageant).

Another unique gown from South Africa , a very unusual colour and beautiful African pattern embedded in the crystal design .. the dark stage did not do it Justice, I also like the beautiful emerald green of Colombia .. just beautiful ❤Venezuela, very Disney princess look but also beautiful

I’ve been watching R’Bonney since her win for Miss Texas then to Miss USA. She really has that aura in her that is very MU material. Her ‘smize’ look and the way she speaks and answers the questions, she always incorporate her passion as a fashion designer, an advocate for sustainability. She wasn’t shy about being an older candidate compared to the other queens. Very similar to Michelle Yeoh’s speech about aging in women and how it affects their opportunities going ‘narrower’ as they get older. Love you R’Bonney! ❤

India is so beautiful and natural, educated and humble! no surgeries unlinke some others, and this year there was so much homogeneity in the over done make up, surgeries etc! I wish there would be more natural beauty (sans make up and embellishments) encouraged by this organisation!
Strong gown performances! It was hard to cut to top 5 because Colombia, Peru, Portugal could’ve made top 10 and even 5 although I agreed with the judges’ choice. Really think USA won this round, not only did her gown stand out, she has incredible stage presence and confidence!! You can just feel it!! This has to be one of the strongest gown performances from Miss USA in a long time!!! Well deserved victory for Miss USA, I called it, congratulations Rbonney!!!
Ndavi was unfortunate because she Didnt prepare enough and also her hair hides her face. She could have made it to the top 5 but we are proud of her still❤
In my opinion, you can tell when a contestant is wearing the dress as opposed to the dress wearing the contestant. Miss USA's gown is so her. You can see she had so much ease walking in it but it more importantly, really speaks to her distinct style and cause. It gave her an edge over the others. So proud of her!
I agree! I don’t think many people can pull off her gown. It’s not the “best” but it has so much personality and commands attention. It fits perfectly for her

One of the best Ms Universe pageant I have watched very entertaining it embraced the Culture of New Orleans and showcase the direction in which the new owners want to take this pageant just love it. And the icing on the cake Ms USA winning one of the most deserving winners I have seen in a long time. Congratulations R'Bonnny....

Colombia tenía todo, excepto 1 cualidad para ganar, pero no pudo avanzar, siempre lo dije desde el 1día, le falta esa hambre de ganar. X eso la belleza no lo es todo en estos concursos. Falta de preparación será, no sé!!! ojalà la hayan preparado con terapias de Salud mental porq tenía todo un país encima de sus hombros el cual no pudo llevarles esa corona 👑.
