Up north fish house rentals is a great option when heading up to red lake, they will put you on the fish. Stayed with them a few times..I’m definitely going back !!!

We were up at red lake the same time as you Jan 7th trip. We were right behind you. Wish we would have known . Would have said hey. Did good up their. Ended up with 18 in 3 days

I stayed a full week at a time in 1990s home made 8x16 ice house out 9 miles on Mille Lacs Lake. Not impressed with the 72 hrs. out in the rolling Hotel room of todays ice houses !
