To me, there’s nothing sadder than when snow melts. I love the white crispness that a good layer of snow gives everything. How everything looks shiny and neat when it’s covered in white. And when it goes, it truly upsets me
That’s what happens right before Christmas where I live. Brown, with 50s and 60s temperatures is a Christmas weather tradition where I live, even though temperatures are usually in the 30s the rest of December.
I get a wonderful feeling of pure joy when I see the snow disappear and the bare lawn exposed again like that. It feels like being reborn to me and at this time of year with winter just approaching I wish I could just time warp ahead six months. :(
ianBeer123 yeah well at least you get summers in Canada. Here it's constantly 15°c with rain or drizzle or overcast. no summers or winter and it's always cool or damp. snow looks nice and that's why I'm jealous but is it a little overrated? I'm in my late teens.
I had a snowstorm on my dad’s birthday 7:58am: Snow started And then 4 hours, later more snow 7 hours later, the snow melted In the morning, all the snow melted December 9, 2020 In Moosic, Pennsylvania 36 hours of the snow melting
Gggg but you skipped night and twilight though I wonder what it's like with the sun so high at midday & it feels actually warm but there's snow. What was the actual temperature and real feel at solar noon?
Ocean Man The sun is much stronger in April plus it depends on the temps. We have record snow depth this April in Minnesota and it's starting to melt today. With highs approaching 50s it shouldn't take long. Next week is 60s I doubt there will be any snow left.
about 40 years ago, a freak winter storm hit my town in Australia bringing in a foot of snow 2 days if snowfall and all melted the next day. Sun intensity and high temps melt it quick
Greetings from Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. Cool video! Check out my time lapse music videos at: "time lapse videos by donald granger" of thunderstorms, moon rises, sun sets, snow storms & snow melting. More will be coming in the near future.
You guys don't understand weather. Snow doesn't wait until Spring to melt, it melts whenever it gets warmer than 32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 degrees Celsius. Temperatures fluctuate up and down constantly and 32 degrees is considered a winter temperature in case you didn't know. April 25 is in Spring so of course the snow is hotter than 32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 degrees celsius.
