In big business cities like NYC, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo etc it is perfectly normal to be alone. People are traveling all the time for work or just busy so no one even bats an eyelid if you are sitting alone and eating.

I'm solo travelling from New Zealand to UK at present, been here 5 weeks, got another 2 months, then France, then Canada ... People are very friendly on the one hand but you get left alone. No-one pays any attention to you being by yourself, freaking fabulous! Love it❤

Never worry about eating alonee, i traveled for work for years alone. Once you get comfortable its wonderful ❤

Next time you're in London, I'd recommend visiting Richmond. It's really beautiful by the river, you can walk and cycle and also visit Richmond Park xx

Thanks for sharing your experience! In june i'll be on my first solo travelling to london. I'm super excited i'm going to a concert but also very excited for the experience. I love traveling alone! one thing I do when I go out to dinner alone is bring a book and/or sketchpad! this way I have something to do in between courses! orrr I just upload all my pictures to Instagram in the mean time :) also props to you for ordering room service.. that's awsome lol
