Oh we hope you’re having the most amazing time Dianne!! Yes, it is the herald Bight campground! We camped on the right side of the entrance. you can head there anytime just make sure you don’t go right on high tide because if othered are camped it may be hard to get around! 🤩🤩

Hey guys, another entertaining video. 🏆 To be honest, I've never seen anyone get bogged as much as you guys 🤣 📌 Not sure if you've been told this before but depending what brake controller you are using, my advice when off road and especially when on soft sand or beaches, is to turn it off or to manual mode and down to the minimum setting because any touch of the brakes has the tendency to lock up the wheels on your van turning it into an anchor and making it very difficult to get moving again.

Tip , make sure to lower the tyre pressures down on trailer as well this will help stop you getting stuck and stop the bouncing we saw with that boat trailer this is because yes way to high. lower to 8-12 psi on sand . Great video looks amazing living the dream !

Herald Bight, Shark Bay. The Bay in May is legendary. Gentle breezes, sunny days (mid to high 20s) great fishing, best camping 💙💙💙 BTW, a shark that size would be good eating, just saying 👍👍

I imagine, and it’s the perfect direction to shelter you from heaps of the gnarly WA wind! It’s honestly been our most favourite beach camp, to date!! We actually kept one of the 3 we caught, some of the best eating of the trip for sure!! Happy weekend Steve!!! ✌🏽🤩

APPRENTLY, you can pull the abs fuse out or put an inline switch in and it gives you all the ponies to all 4 wheels also traction and stabuility control are turned off then. I also believe making sure your car and caravan wheels track the same. Eg your ranger has 0pffset wheels and you camper has +20. You ranger it basicly skull draging you camper on the inside of ranger wheel tracks on thr sand.

That's such a good idea actually! I don't know how I'd go with warranty if ford found that though hahaha. And yes your on the money with the offset, funnily enough the van and the car both have after market wheels to make them run on the same track, (within 5mm) but cornering sharp in the sand brings them out of the wheel tracks and that's what brings us unstuck. So it's more operator error than anything. But great advice! Thanks for watching!

Traction control on sand is useless Just turn it off and keep ya boot in it until you feel yourself sinking It just takes experience to know when to get out of it Let your tyres down as much as you think is enough and then go a bit more

Traction control, hold the button down for five seconds till the dash flashes, note have repeat every time the ignition is turned off

Hey Louise!! We were there just last month! I think the site was $11pp? I can’t quite remember, you pay on the way in so make sure you carry some cash. We stayed at Herald Bight, quite a rough road in, so be mindful of that!! 🤩

Guys u may aswell of eaten that shark. Most likely died in the coming weeks after you lifted him out the water. No good don’t lift them out by the tail
