Was a great time, Amsterdam was such an aesthetic city loved every second and got some great pics 📸

Its definitely picturesque, definitely different to london when it comes to street photography

First time there I had to see it all, very walkable city too means I can get from one side to the other in around 30 mins or so Where would you say you spent most of your time?

@@SnapsBySamosh I did a lot walking and roaming in general, but after arriving at the train station, I spent a bit of time near the water at the back of the station where the little ferries come and go, and got some nice shots there. After that I went to Dam Square and then proceeded to the 9 Streets and did some more roaming around. I planned to visit more places like the Museum Square, but the day flew by! I'm planning to back there a few more times this year. I'm from The Netherlands anyway. 😉

Thanks a lot, learning street photography itself is pretty much the same no matter where you shoot, the things you want to look for and how you compose your image are the same, the thing that differs is what exactly you’re taking photos of. In Amsterdam, theres plenty to photograph, quaint streets and canals to busy insane nightlife, avoid photography in the red light district at night, if you are learning, confidence isn’t going to be all the way up there, and there are very specific rules for it (building up confidence is a whole separate thing though, my channel has a video on avoiding confrontation, i recommend looking at that)

Street photography is subjective but it seems like you look very surface level. Look at the subject’s expressions look how they mimic each others actions etc, look how the light works
