In this video number {726}, Why PFC is used in SMPS? Power Factor Correction, I explained pfc in smps switch mode power upply circuit. it is volatge booster section, which boosts the rectified dc voltage. it supports the pwm controller to regulate output voltage. if the line volatge drops, this volatge booster maintains on dc rail.

Sir if you don't mind. I just want to know. When you discuss the circuit and test the circuit about output side you said here should be 5 volt and here should be 3.5 volt.
