The Phom Land famously known as ''Abode of clouds''also regarded as the 'Land of Handicraft ' has celebrated its 72nd peace day on 6th June,2024 under the theme:''peace within,peace beyond:"
The programme was graced by Rev.Dr,Wati Aier(Convenor,Forum for Naga Reconciliation) as a special Guest.
On 6th of June,1952,all phoms have pledged themselves to be peacefully and loyal to the government paving ways to harmonized existence between one another.Also,the day market as putting an end to it's taboo of head hunting practice in the land and beyond.
The day also sets an example all over the world over the fight for peacefully coexistence.And the phom community urges people from all walks of life to follow this examplified methods so as to achieve world peace.
