Interdiction mission in Falcon 4 BMS, by the 72nd Virtual Fighter Wing. I'm Serpent 3-1, flight lead. Duke is the -2, Snake the -3, and Stalker and Nomis make up Shark2.
To fence-in means to do the last checks before entering presumed hostile area, such as making sure the lights are out, master arm set, chaff/flare program selected and yada-yada. "5.5" means the amount of fuel, in this case 5500 pounds. So when lead calls for a fence in, number 2 can reply once he's done : "2 fenced, 5.5".
I think it is Tacview. It allows you to review the entire flight, manoveurs and weapons from your plane, and all oponents and allies. Airborne, floating and grouded. I don't use it yet but about to.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Falcon has a dynamic campaign engine, which can be tailored to each one's preferences and prioritize your preferred mission types, over others. Furthermore, you can add your own flights, targeting specific types of targets, as long as they're out there.
This is a program based on Falcon 4.0 Microprose. For playing BMS you have just installed Falcon 4.0 Microprose and then you can download completely GRATIS from Benchmark's Sims site.
Ok, in the cd-game there are missions of interdiction and ground attack, but of course they are limited. In my view a bit of passionate programmers could develop new scenarios with moving armours and trains
Yes, I briefed MIL takeoff because we had no external tanks. I just KNOW you're waiting to inform me that a MIL takeoff actually doesn't save that much fuel compared to a MAX takeoff; yes, I know that now.
When you think long and philisophically about the real thing, it's just people killing each other in a way that violates the Occam's Razor rule. Nothing more. Some people find the certain active stimulation that the experience provides to the brain exciting, that's why they do it. I personally find it more civilized to do this rather than CoD or FIFA or whatever.
Excellent. Ignore the hateful assholes who are so unhappy with their own life they go on the internet to annoy people about theirs. On a more related note... that was the most terrifying landing pattern I've ever seen! ;)
