I went back and forth acouple months ago on a Q20 and a Amyet G60. I ended up getting a G60 and now a bunch of Ridstar videos are popping up and nothing on the G60 🤦. Hopefully I can upgrade this thing
I was thinking of buying a stock bike with 2000w but after watching your videos I think I'm gonna do the same, start with a cheaper q20 and upgrade it. I currently ride an electric longboard but I'm ready to get something faster.
Yes, first, you must match the connectors used for the throttle to the controller. Then search and find the right one you want. Should be a straightforward swap.
Did you install only install the 72v battery to the q20 and leave the rest of it stock? Also whats the top speed youve reached on this thing last thing whats is the name of the battery you got
Depending where you live be careful going that fast on the sidewalk. Got mine about a week ago and im loving it though i have a weird jingle sound while driving i cant identify that only started after it barly fit in the car to transport home but didnt show when i test drove it at the sotre but cant wait to really rack the miles on this baby. Looking add a cargo rack if you have any recommendations, would be greatly appreciated.
I had the same jingle, check your lower kickstand. I found that mines had a screw loose after riding. That did the trick and yes, I will send you a link for some cargo rack recommendations. Thank you
I have a video with all of the links for the parts I used. I also have a installation video as well if you need help. I can help you personally install it if needed as well. It's a pretty straightforward install, plug and play yes
Thanks man! You are just in luck, I've upgraded the bike since this video, much faster and more torque. Check out my other videos. Pretty much a street legal electric motorcycle now
I saw that's why I commented. Stock is just too slow for us big guys. Looks like that kit you put on is well worth the money. How long before you got new tires? The stock ones look thin. @@Electronic2wheels
@JeffWolfe13 stock tires are thin and sketch after 40mph. I swapped them right after I got more power. The new Shinkos are awesome, you can't even tell you are going 50mph, so smooth and more grip around the corners, also better balance. Also 70 a tire. Not too much money
Thats what I need! I was just looking at locks but I dont want one always on my bike or have to deal with finding something to lock it to. Im also never leaving it for too long. Just to go into a store, etc
I would always suggest that you put a GPS tracking device on it. If anyone is able to steal your bike, you will be able to find it. Also if that happens, make sure you have the police with you.
What I don't understand is why if I only have the second gear, the bike goes up to the maximum speed when I pedal, is there a way to configure it so that the speed remains at the speed of the gear that is set?
