I listen to this every morning as I'm dressing. There is something so calming about the noise. I love it through earphones (which lets you hear that wonderful oscillating) but I also pipe it through speakers and use it as calming ambient sound. Thank you for another beautifully crafted video. Best, WD.
When I was a kid I'd sit in a box in front of a fan and pretend I was flying in an open top plane, or on a hot air balloon/blimp. I felt so safe and happy in that box. I get flashbacks to that feeling when I sit close to fans or when I hear fans like this. I think my reaction is similar to yours.
For the last 10-12 years of my life, I've slept with my fan blowing every night! Even when I was freezing cold in the winter....I cannot sleep without it.
Ohh my goshhh.... I was just listening to this without any headphones and then I read the bottom that said "please wear headphones" I put them in and all I can say is WOW. Soooo relaxing. I could listen to this all night! Thank you sooo much for this.
i always need help to focus while writing my fictions. this is one of the FEW things that help me focus. thank you very much !! i will love you forever for this.
Thank you so much for this sound. It helps me so much whenever i am trying to work on homework and my family is being too noisy in my busy household! I have trouble trouble staying focused so this helps!
This video is phenomenal. It is HIGHLY relaxing to listen to, and it brings back so many amazing memories of summer. I used to fall asleep in front of the fan all the time, and when I hear this sound I want to fall asleep LOL!
This is great! It's hard to find good fan sounds on here that last more than a few minutes. I do have a request though... can you do a box fan with the sound of crickets for 30 minutes or so? Thanks!
May I suggest some traffic noise uploads? I imagine that people who live in the city are pretty dependant on traffic noise to help lull them to sleep I bet a lot of people would love some traffic noise to help get to sleep when they are away from the noise of cars at night. I don't know how you would get good traffic noise audio though, seems like a pretty hard thing to capture.
I already have a box fan in my bedroom because I'm an excessive sweater and the sounds of this fan in the video sounds a bit like a lawnmower but quieter.
Now that it's getting cold, this is perfect, since running a fan is out of the question now. Since I got one of those "quiet" fans (curses!), I ran this video to supplement the sound I was missing in summer.
this is great, I sleep with a fan on year round just for the noise, I hate the total quiet, I also need the TV on, can't sleep in total darkness, not that im afraid of the dark, its just one of those things. like the ASMR.
I'm in an old brick house with large windows yellow walls in Brazil/Spain/Africa someplace. My fiance waters the house plants and then the flowers in the garden out back. I lie on our simple bed in the middle of the room and he gently lies next to me. We both soak up the oscillating breeze...
I'm looking for one with a deeper but softer sound, like you would find inside the vent of a loft apartment or something. A rhythmic "thwack" "thwack" sound, with some deep reverberation and din almost that sound like the metal is quietly humming.
While listening to this I don't know why I was having the urge to get my fan down even though its like -4 C outside :P I think its because when I hear this sound I visualize Very Hot summer day and me sitting in front of the fan with a cold drink and feeling that nice cool air damnn nice.
I read a book in middle school about synaesthesia called A Mango-Shaped Space, and I had never heard of the condition before and I found it so interesting. So while it is a younger book, it's a great read! They had mentioned how acupuncture heightened the condition, have you ever tried it?
What your listening to is the sound of the big bang echoing through time.It contains the Singularity. If you listen verry carefully you can hear Who's that dippin through the Cadillac when its half past dead listening to back from the grave for the 47 th time.
