True. I agree, I actually kinda liked Miranda, she is a strong independent business woman and that's how Wintour seems too. And of course Priestly is just an exaggerated and demonized character for the purposes of the movie. I like hard-working people and Mrs. Wintour seems like one of those to me; And especially an honest and straight-forward one! is just her character.

Plus as all of this is staged, I tend to think that the way in which it reminds us to the movie was just made on purporse too.

But the real reason i was astonished was that many people inspite of giving questions beforehand will not know the answers. Heck! I am one of them. I saw a feature of her office in 2007, and the assistants were perfectly the sosies of the ones described in the book and shown in the movie. Perfectly. But since she had critic, I think she changed to get more smart than beautiful coworkers, who, most importantly, don't fail to break their legs each time they're late due to their footwear. I think this is better for the magazine as well, Virginia, the one coming in with the clothes without color was already working for Anna when "The September Issue" was filmed, which is far more than a year ago.
