I had the GT 380 my brother had the 550 . I liked the center pipe splitting into 2 out the back. People in back of you thought it was a 4 cylinder. Top end of those 2 strokes easy to do. Nice bike great video.

The GT550 is a rare animal in the USA, especially the earlier 72/73 versions. I have been to Barber Vintage Festival since 2012, and have only seen one. I bought it.

The original seat cover in 73 had the Suzuki script written in a convex fashion across the back of it, not straight across. Just a minor detail, but they do sell them both ways.

I bought a Suzuki GT550 after I passed my test on a honda CB125 in the UK. It was a great bike to ride. Unfortunately I had too much fun on it and broke my leg!

I broke my right leg and smashed my left foot in a 55mph collision with a drunk that turned in to my lane. Loved that bike. There's nothing like the sound of a good 3 cylinder two stroke.

Definitely a gorgeous core vintage 2 stroke to work with. Nice Bike. This is called The Water Buffalo, correct? Or is that name just for the Suzuki 750 2 strokes?

@@KaplanCycles Gabe, the Water Buffalo was the 750 only due to it being a water cooled 2 stroke.
