Need more engine videos. That's what drew me to the chan. Your knowledge and the detail put into an engine rebuild is what interests me. Please do more engine work. every 10 months is not enough. Thanks! Hope to see more.

I’ve been shopping around for big block Chevy crate engines and stumbled across this 540. I think I’m going to order one for my 72 chevelle. I like the idea of the one piece rear main and this has everything I’d want in a bruiser NA street car engine. Car was my dads he bought it in 78 without an engine. It’s had small blocks in it since. It was originally a 454 car so it needs another big block i think

No one does it like you guys. 3 years unlimited. I will one day buy that motor

Honestly something like this should easily reach 7k rpms.. and have atleast 11.5:1 compression.. this engine has soo much more potential

Very nice 540cid engine guys...it would also be nice if you could show (on the video screen) the RPM that the engine's PEAK TORQUE was made at as well as the RPM the PEAK Horsepower was made at... I know you showed Graphs, etc, and mentioned some words about the power the engine made, but when you're whipping that camera around every second it makes it very difficult to zero in on the all the info... especially the peak Torque and peak HP at their given RPM... thanks

What 351w based engine would you build for street strip turbo setup with a turbo 400? Ideas on cubes, heads, intake, etc.
@shaunphillips2961
I would love to see a 340 runner head comparison pick up some port velocity see how much more it would pick up

Jacob, what did you think about the ICON piston? I'm in the middle of a 416ci LS3 build with ICON flattop pistons. This is my first and may be my last experience with them. I chose to use ICON as they were available for my clients deadline where JE was not.

Why I watch your videos i don't know I can't afford any of the stuff you show anyways. Plus your working on your engines yourself so yeah money saved for people who know how to work on engines.

I nearly fell out of my chair when you "Engine Builders" pulled out the Ole HEI when most every Dyno cell I know have MSD boxes already wired up for easy plug & play with having to worry about any fitment issues because the MSD distributer is so much smaller ????? What gives ?
