Despite the crashes and the doors flying of, which is made in my home country, Malaysia, its really cool to see the plane being built. The worker are must be tired and exhausted from building the plane even though they still missed the bolts. 😅
Today is 28 October 2019 : 737 MAX Boeing have been virtually grounded. This is the reason why. Boeing had to use much Bigger Engines that didn’t fit in the usual position under the wing of the repurposed, 53-year-old 737 design. The engines had to be moved forward and hoisted higher. As a result, the aerodynamics changed, and the planes had a tendency to pitch up and potentially stall on takeoff. Boeing’s solution to this hardware defect was an imperfect software bandage that would automatically correct the pitch. In both crashes, preliminary investigations found this software kicked in even when the plane wasn’t stalling, with lethal consequences. Doing fast, finally slow.
Today is 22 march 2022 the max has been ungrounded since early 2021 and the type is now flying almost everywhere boeing has fixed mcas but two days prior the 737-800 ng crashed to the ground at -30000fpm and uneducated people are saying the max is to blame some how and others are confused on the matter the 737-800ng is still flying ungrounded unless somthing else happens the crash of the 737-800 are unknown as the crash was a couple of days ago and everyone is speculating if it was the aircraft to blame or the crew.
It measures pressure for testing, the reason it is on a string is too get away from the turbulent air for more accurate readings. It is not needed on regular flights but is very important for testing to get the most accurate results

I was afraid to get on one of these, but had no choice last June due to schedules and cancellations! Let me tell you, it was super crowded and Uncomfortable! There was 2 rows of seats 💺, 3 seats each row! Only one bathroom unit in the back! We were like sardines in a can 😑
They tried harder to compete with A320 Neo, Airbus engineer know someday they will upgrade the A320 engine but with an old body, they setup perfectly in the very start, not like boeing Look at 3:36 how big engine is, is not supossed to be there
The thing is, the A320 sitts a lot higher to the ground then the 737, this is because the 737 was made for shorter flights and used JT8D engines which were much smaller in diameter. What you also shouldnt forgot is that the 737 is way much older, when the 737 was new, small engine diameters were cummon, when the a320 came out the engine standarts had a much bigger diameter. Btw some a320 models share the same engine as the 737 classic and NG. But yes, Boeing has forgotten about the safety, just to try to win a fight between companies, that should never happen, the 737 Max should have been made from scratch, because the 737 NG is modified to its limit.
@@ethansaviation2672 no one had thought about it, because it was planned as a short range aircraft with small JT8D turbojet engines, today it exists in the 4th generation with a lot bigger turbofan engines and is flying mid and even long range flights, the 737 MAX needs computers (MCAS) to stay in air safely, that should be a no-go in aviation.
Boeing has long since corrected its mistakes: when the attack sensor breaks down, not the entire remaining flight is deactivated, so this will not happen again
These planes are a 50 plus year old design that have been modified beyond what was ever intended. Using computer gimmicks to counter act design flaws does not fix the problem. The Max is not safe.
